<h2>Chris Tan's fixture analysis: Double Gameweek 37</h2>
<p>Last week we identified that <strong>Bukayo Saka (£9.0m)</strong> could get lucky given the amount of penalties Bournemouth have conceded compared to the number Arsenal have won.</p>
<p>The article highlighted what a good match up <strong>Alexander Isak (£8.4m)</strong> had, and if he had converted his penalty, he would have walked away with maximum bonus.</p>
<p>We noted that <strong>Erling Haaland (£14.1m) </strong>had a great match up considering the amount of shots in the box and big chances that Wolves concede but the two additional penalties turned it into a monster haul.</p>
<p>We also identified that Chelsea were likely to thrash West Ham, but for once, <strong>Cole Palmer (£6.2m) </strong>did not dominate the goal involvement.</p>
<p>This week it’s the final double of the season and the one the majority of us have been holding the bench boost for.</p>
<p>This article will be focused on the teams that double and a handful of key single gameweek options, but it will not analyse the inconsequential match ups.</p>

<h2><strong>FPL Double Gameweek 37 fixtures analysed</strong></h2>
<h3>Manchester City v Fulham (a), Spurs (a)</h3>
<p>Manchester City are in relentless mode - but they’re not just grinding out wins, they’re blowing teams away.</p>
<p>Fulham have stuttered lately but they’re a solid side at home. If Fulham have stuttered, then Spurs are in freefall, and they’ve lost their last four.</p>
<p>City beat Fulham 5-1 in the reverse fixture (Haaland registered 20 points) and 2-1 in both games last season (he scored in both of those games as well). It’s safe to say that the Norwegian enjoys playing against Fulham.</p>
<p>City don’t have the best record away to Spurs, but I won’t drill too deep as they had different managers.</p>
<p>They broke their away jinx away in the FA Cup where they bear Spurs 0-1. The reverse fixture ended 3-3. Haaland blanked and <strong>Phil Foden</strong> <strong>(£8.4m)</strong> scored.</p>
<p>Although City have the dreaded lunch time kick off against Fulham, with no European games, this isn’t a massive issue.</p>
<p>They have two full days to recover for Spurs and the lunch time kick off, combined with this night time game provides an additional half a day recovery. Spurs have slightly less time but this is offset by not having to travel.</p>
<p><strong>Additional Factors to consider:</strong></p>
<p>The recent xG stats illustrate how much City are flying. They’re averaging four goals and big chances per game! They have the second best away xG in the league and are second for goals scored away.</p>
<p>Spurs struggle to defend crosses and set pieces, as Arsenal exploited. Haaland is a menace in the air with Foden and <strong>Kevin De Bruyne (£10.5m)</strong> providing the assists.</p>
<p>They allow the most chances from their left, which De Bruyne could capitalise on and concede a high volume of big chances, which Haaland hoovers up.</p>

<p>Fulham’s recent xGC stats are rock solid (third best) whereas Spurs’ are fourth worst. Spurs have conceded the joint second most big chances, an average of 2.5 goals per game and haven’t kept a clean sheet in their last eight.</p>
<p>Across the season, Fulham’s home xGC stats are average and they’ve only conceded 20 in 18. Spurs rank sixth worst but similarly, have only conceded 24 in 17.</p>
<p>The above suggests that City will find a way but Fulham could frustrate them and Spurs looks to be the game with more upside.</p>
<p>Fulham concede a high volume of big chances and allow the most shots from their left and centre. You can see why Haaland has a good record against them.</p>
<p>City have won eight penalties this season. Both opposition have conceded six, which bodes well for City.</p>
<p>Overall, despite having two away games, it’s hard to see City not scoring multiple goals here and Haaland usually hogs the goal involvement.</p>
<p>With regards to their defensive assets, City’s recent xGC stats are the best in the league and they’re the second best in the league away from home having conceded just 18 in 17. Despite that, both opposition have reasonable attacking stats and City are prone to conceding the odd goal.</p>
