Here, we list every player currently banned - be it for red cards or collecting yellow cards - and those at most risk of missing a game.

This article will be updated throughout the 2026/27 season.

What are the rules on yellow cards?

Players who receive five yellow cards in their sides’ first 19 games will serve a one-match ban.

The threshold rises to 10 yellows over the first 32 games, which is met with a two-match ban, followed by a three-match ban for 15 yellows in 38 games.

A suspension for picking up too many bookings must be served in the Premier League – not the FA Cup or Carabao Cup.

Who has accumulated the most yellow cards so far?

4 yellows - one away from a ban

3 players

3 yellows - two away from ban

7 players

Who’s currently suspended?

Pascal Struijk, Rodrigo Bentancur and Ryan Gravenberch were sent off in Gameweek 6.

Struijk and Gravenberch will be able to return from Gameweek 8, missing one match.

But Bentancur’s violent conduct in squaring up to Luke Shaw means he will miss three matches. He will not be able to return until Gameweek 10.

Of the existing suspended players, Axel Disasi has one more fixture of his three-match ban to serve.

But Phil Foden, Taiwo Awoniyi and Abdul Fatawu can all return in Gameweek 7.
