<h2>Which FPL Double Gameweek 21 players to target and why?</h2>
<p><strong>West Ham &#8211; </strong></p>
<p>Fixtures:</p>

<p>Not only do they have an excellent Double Gameweek but they have aa very good fixture in the form of Leeds when other teams likely have a DGW22.</p>
<p>Further the fixture run is good over an extended period of time so transfers can be used elsewhere (e.g. dealing with players leaving and returning for AFCON, injuries, fixture swings, etc.)</p>

<h3>1. Jarrod Bowen (£6.4m)</h3>

<p>The must have player for Double Gameweek 21 and I&#8217;d definitely pull a few strings at least too make sure I have him.</p>
<p>He&#8217;s ranked 2nd in the Premier League this season for &#8220;Goal-Creating Actions&#8221; (16), and 5th for &#8220;npxG +xA&#8221; (9.7). However, what&#8217;s more impressive to me is the eye test.</p>
<p>He takes up positions on the inside right channel very often, similar to the areas Pedro played in for Chelsea under Antonio Conte in his title winning season and it brought him great individual success.</p>
<p>Rather than holding his width, the inside channel facilitates a far greater chance for him to provide attacking returns. The &#8220;GCA&#8221; stat is simply evidence of this.</p>
<p>When West Ham circulate the ball, <strong>Declan Rice</strong> or <strong>Bowen</strong> are usually the one&#8217;s which break lines through progressive passes or ball progression. Bowen finds himself doing this job in the final third more often than not, where he can penetrate defences and pick up attacking returns.</p>
<p>He&#8217;s an intelligent player, he uses his off the ball movement to pick up larger pockets of space in between the lines and in the half spaces. The goal he scored against Chelsea is roughly the sort of area where I expect him to find joy against both Palace and Norwich.</p>
<p>Finally the fact he&#8217;s on set pieces combined with a low price point makes him the best option this Gameweek and going forward. With an effective ownership (courtesy of livefpl.net) of 39% in the top 10k, there&#8217;s still likely to be good upside from the pick as well as protecting rank,</p>
<h3></h3>
<h3>2. Michail Antonio (7.8m)</h3>

<p>It&#8217;s a very similar story to Bowen.</p>
<p>Simply based off the fixtures it&#8217;s a very good pick. He&#8217;s ranked 4th for &#8220;npxG +xA&#8221; (10.6).</p>
<p>The eye test supports this pick as his performances of late have certainly started to look more like the Antonio we saw at the start of the season. He&#8217;s occupying more central areas again, finds himself in more advanced positions than previous games and most importantly for me is involved in the link up play a lot more.</p>
<p>The Crystal Palace game I believe to be more suitable for Bowen out the two as there are more avenues for points, however the Norwich game presents such a high ceiling for Antonio that I&#8217;d be disappointed as an owner not to record a double digit haul.</p>
<p>With managers owning at least 1 mid priced forward due to how the season has gone, I&#8217;d imagine the avenues to bringing Antonio in for maximum a -4 aren&#8217;t too difficult and as such would bring him in.</p>
<p>I&#8217;d captain Bowen over the two just off recent form and overall involvement, but wouldn&#8217;t be surprised if Antonio makes his real comeback week; Double Gameweek 22.</p>
<h3></h3>
<h2>Potential other Double Gameweek 21 options:</h2>
<p><strong>Lukasz Fabianski (£5.0m)</strong> <strong>(and Coufal as a lesser option)</strong> &#8211;</p>
<p>As previously discussed, good fixtures this Gameweek and for the long term.</p>
<p>With many people looking for <strong>Ramsdale</strong> replacements one may have just presented itself and a very similar price point.</p>
<p>With West Ham having defensive injuries they are certainly weaker at the back, but it facilitates the opportunity for a huge haul through acquiring multiple save points and as such bonus points in a game.</p>
<p>The question is whether you think at some point they will keep a clean sheet. If Palace have Gallagher out, and with the other fixture being Norwich; I&#8217;d fancy Fabianski to return 9 points this Gameweek and do decently over the coming weeks and months.</p>
<h2></h2>
<p><strong>Dominic Calvert Lewin (£7.7m)</strong> &#8211;</p>
<p>The fixtures are good over the long term, no question. In DGW21 they face a leaky Leicester side and Brighton who to be fair are looking a fairly good defensive unit.</p>
<p>Historically this would be close to a no brainer. However, with Everton not having played in what seems like a age (Burnley showed last night the effects that it can have) and Calvert Lewin not playing since Gameweek 3, I envisage it difficult to safely assume a score of 10 or more points.</p>
<p>Personally, I&#8217;d avoid him but there&#8217;s enough logical reasoning there for one to pick him. His minutes being managed, uncertainty over performance levels and Antonio being at the same price point are all enough to deter me.</p>
<h2></h2>
<p><strong>Ivan Toney (£6.6m) &#8211; </strong></p>
<p>Similar story to Calvert Lewin, good enough fixtures in the Double Gameweek but other factors make him less appealing.</p>
<p>It&#8217;s safe to say Brentford aren&#8217;t the most fluid side going forward. They are ranked 12th for xG with a bulk of that coming in an earlier stage of the season.</p>
<p>I can see Toney not receiving a huge volume of passes into him when in central attacking areas. He could often be used to help build up play but not be on the end of the move (especially against Villa who are ranked 4th for xGC since Gerrard took over).</p>
<p>Against Southampton (who have been good at home), I can see him having more joy due to a lower standard of personnel in defence and in goal, but also the system of pressing and a higher line.</p>
<p>The thing about Toney which I really don&#8217;t like is the fixtures that follow are poor, and the fact other forwards are likely to gave favourable DGW22&#8217;s make him even less appealing.</p>
<h2></h2>
<h2>Avoid:</h2>
<p>I wouldn&#8217;t consider any other assets including Brentford (poor fixtures following DGW21) or Everton (poor form and haven&#8217;t played in a while)defenders.</p>
