            <p>The form of <strong>Marcus Rashford (£7.2m)</strong> and a potential double gameweek has led some FPL managers to consider using their Triple Captain chip on him in FPL Gameweek 22.</p>
<p>The Manchester United midfielder has nine league goals and three assists to his name so far this season, scoring a total of 108 FPL points.</p>
<p>Full of confidence at present, he has 10 goals in 10 games in all competitions since the World Cup - a competition in which he found the back of the net three times.</p>

<h2>What is the Triple Captain chip?</h2>
<p>The Triple Captain chip in Fantasy Premier League enables managers to score three times the points for one player - instead of the double points on offer for a normal captain.</p>
<p>We have already written a detailed piece on the <a href="https://www.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/what-is-the-fantasy-premier-league-triple-captain-and-when-to-use-it">Triple Captain chip and when to use it</a> - but in a nutshell, experienced FPL managers tend to play it in a double gameweek.</p>
<p>This is because the selected player has two chances to score points.</p>
<h2>Marcus Rashford's Gameweek 22 fixtures</h2>
<p>Before considering Rashford's stats, a look at the fixtures is wise.</p>
<p>United are scheduled to play Crystal Palace and Leeds, however the latter game will only take place if both sides don't need an FA Cup fourth-round replay. <p>If the double gameweek doesn't go ahead, Rashford is no longer a strong Triple Captain option - but for now we'll assume it is going ahead as planned.</p>
<p>Palace are 12th in the Premier League table, with Leeds in 15th.</p>
<p>Leeds have conceded 19 goals away from home, the fifth-worst total in the league.</p>
<p>Palace meanwhile have been more solid away from Selhurst Park, conceding 11 times, putting them fourth-best overall and indicating they will be no pushovers.</p>
<p>It is at home where Palace have struggled the most, with the joint-second highest number of home goals conceded in the league (16).</p>
<p>United's league games come four days apart, on Saturday and Wednesday, so there should be enough recovery time for FPL managers to reasonably expect Rashford to feature in both.</p>
<p>Their Carabao Cup semi-final second leg comes on the Wednesday before they play Palace, however with United enjoying a 3-0 advantage over Nottingham Forest, there's a chance he could be rested.</p>

<h2>Marcus Rashford's 2022/23 season stats</h2>
<p>Rashford's nine league goals have come from an expected goals (xG) tally of 9.17, meaning he is performing as expected bearing in mind the chances that have come his way to date.</p>
<p>His assists tally of three is also roughly the same as his expected assists (xA) figure of 3.68.</p>
<p>He has posted hauls of 10 FPL points or more four times, top scoring with 18 in Gameweek 6, thanks to two goals and an assist against Arsenal.</p>
