<h2>FPL Gameweek 31: Predicted best player</h2>
<p>Before building the best FPL team for Gameweek 31, let's look at the players predicted to score highest, both overall and by position.</p>
<p>All of the top five are premium players, but it's not <strong>Erling Haaland (£12.2m)</strong> in the traditional top spot, with <strong>Harry Kane (£11.7m) </strong>for the visit of Bournemouth.</p>
<p>Kane has scored in four consecutive Premier League games, with more goals in that period than any other player. He's had 14 shots in that time, with four big chances on the opposition's goal.</p>
<p>Kane has seven goals and one assist from nine appearances against Bournemouth, but the Cherries do have two clean sheets in the last four gameweeks.</p>

<h2>Best FPL team for Gameweek 31: Forwards</h2>
<p>It's a conventional 3-4-3 formation this gameweek, with another premium in the forward line.</p>
<p><strong>Erling Haaland (£12.2m) </strong>was back from injury and back in the goals against Southampton last weekend, taking him up to a remarkable 30 goals for the season.</p>
<p>A home game against Leicester should suit him, with the Foxes failing to keep a clean sheet since the FPL restart. 60% of Haaland's goals this season have come at the Etihad.</p>
<p>Nottingham Forest's <strong>Brennan Johnson (£5.7m) </strong>also gets the nod as Manchester United visit the City Ground, with his budget price allowing for two more premiums in the midfield.</p>
<p>Johnson has eight goals already this season, with seven of them coming at home, and three coming in the last five gameweeks. He's also on penalties.</p>
