<p>Nottingham Forest have signed Emmanuel Dennis &#8211; but what are the former Watford forward&#8217;s fantasy football prospects?</p>

<h2>Emmanuel Dennis &#8211; Premier League 2021/22 season performance</h2>
<p>FPL managers have plenty of recent experience of Dennis.</p>
<p>The Nigerian played 33 league games last season,  scoring 10 times and assisting six.</p>
<p>For a forward who started at a bargain price of £5.0m, those returns appear to verge on the realms of fantasy football legend status.</p>
<p>But for many managers, his place in the FPL history books comes for an altogether more negative reason.</p>
<p>Timing your purchase of Dennis was key. Start him in Gameweek 1 and he rewarded you with a goal and an assist for 12 FPL points.</p>
<p>In an enticing double gameweek 23 though, which kicked off with a home game against Norwich City, the returns were not so good.</p>
<p>Donning the captain&#8217;s armband &#8211; in many FPL sides alongside his Watford strike partner<strong> Josh King </strong>&#8211; Dennis was given a red card.</p>
<p>He missed the following game through suspension and rewarded captainers with a minus-two-point haul.</p>

<h2>Emmanuel Dennis &#8211; Nottingham Forest prospects</h2>
<p>Putting his FPL folklore to one side, Forest have a striker with Premier League goalscoring experience to bolster their front line.</p>
<p>Dennis will primarily have competition in the form of <strong>Brennan Johnson (£6.0m)</strong>, <strong>Sam Surridge (£5.0m)</strong>, <strong>Taiwo Awoniyi (£6.0m)</strong>.</p>
<p>And there could be more to come, with Brighton&#8217;s <strong>Neal Maupay (£6.4m)</strong> among names linked to a move to the City Ground.</p>
<p><a href="https://www.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/premier-league-fantasy-football-tips-nottingham-forest-team-preview-2022-23-bigmanbakar">Awoniyi</a> is another of Forest&#8217;s summer signings, who made his Premier League debut in Gameweek 1. He made his first start in Gameweek 2, scoring the winning goal against West Ham.</p>
<p>Forest manager Steve Cooper had opted to start with Surridge and Johnson in the club&#8217;s opening 2-0 loss to Newcastle United, with Surridge making way for Awoniyi.</p>
<p>The Premier League new boys face tough tests in Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester City in Gameweek 4 and 5, so FPL managers have some time to assess how Dennis settles in at his new club.</p>
<h2>Emmanuel Dennis &#8211; Sky, TFF and Dream Team prospects</h2>
<p>Goals and assists are the name of the game in all fantasy formats &#8211; but away from FPL there are other factors in play.</p>
<p>Good striker picks in Sky pick up regular bonus points for shots on target.</p>
<p>Dennis averaged 1.8 shots per game, picking up 17 bonus points for shots.</p>
<p>Meanwhile, Dream Team uses WhoScored ratings and awards extra points for players being named star man and if they receive a rating of seven or more in a game. Last season, Dennis averaged a rating of 6.89.</p>
