Arsenal’s upcoming fixture run has caught the eye of many an FPL manager.
According to Fantasy Football Hub&#8217;s <a href="https://www.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/fixture-ticker">fixture ticker</a>, the Gunners have the second easiest run over the next six weeks, behind only West Ham.

Arsenal have the second-best defence in the Premier League in terms of goals conceded, so you’re going to want at least one of their defenders in your team. 
Ben White (£5.7m) is the premium option and most likely to deliver attacking returns.
His six goals and assists in 2023 puts him in the top five Premier League defenders in this department.
While not the most productive on a per-90 level or in terms of deeper-lying metrics &#8211; 0.05 expected goals (xG) and 0.08 expected assists (xA), few beat him for availability and favourability. 
White has spent more time on the pitch than any other ‘big six’ defender this calendar year.
But is he worth 0.5m more than William Saliba (£5.3m) or £1.0m more than Gabriel (£4.8m)?

Well, he has the highest FPL points per million of any Arsenal player this season (9.3) and their third highest points per match.
Gabriel is starting more regularly than he did at the start of the season but still seems rotation-prone, having sat out the Sheffield United win. 
White has received bonus points in four matches and the second most for Arsenal this season overall. 
Saliba is their most popular defender in FPL, in 26.7% of teams, but overall, if you’ve got the funds, White is a strong long-term investment with higher potential for attacking returns.

No Premier League team is better at sharing the goals around than Arsenal &#8211; <a href="https://www.squawka.com/en/features/premier-league-club-top-scorer-dependence/">only Brighton can match them</a> &#8211; which can create headaches for FPL managers.
When it comes to non-penalty goals, they have three joint-top scorers in the Premier League in 2023 so far, with Bukayo Saka (£8.6m), Gabriel Martinelli (£7.7m) and Martin Odegaard (£8.4m) all on eight.
The top-scoring trio are all designated FPL midfielders. So which do you buy?
There are considerations beyond points. Both Saka and Odegaard face fitness checks and are rated at 75% chance to play this weekend by FPL.
But we’ve been here several times this season with Saka and the only game Mikel Arteta hasn’t started him in was the 1-0 win over Manchester City.

Odegaard has missed the last two league games. But even if he is fit for Burnley, the Norwegian is not your best option. 
His 48-point return on 8.4m works out at 5.7 points per million. He’s had attacking returns in three games, and bonus points in just two.
So the decision becomes Saka or Martinelli, and there’s really no contest so far this season. Saka has the best numbers at Arsenal for xG, xA, touches in the opponent’s box and big chances created.

At 7.7m, Martinelli is the cheaper option but averages 3.8 points per million (29 total). After making an impact from the bench against City, the Brazilian has drawn blanks in his past three starts.
Saka is the second-most owned player in FPL, selected by 50.8% of teams, and has brought his managers 66 points home so far. 
The Englishman has four goals and five assists, with xG of 0.42 and xA of 0.3. 
Saka has also accrued 244 BPS and eight bonus points overall. It’s a no-brainer, especially with Saka recording attacking returns away to Aston Villa, Brentford and Brighton last season.
