<p>Jota suffered suspected medial collateral ligament (MCL) damage after a collision with <strong>Christian Norgaard (£5.3m)</strong>, which saw the Brentford midfielder land unceremoniously on Jota's leg.</p>
<p>While Jurgen Klopp has given us no concrete return date, the Liverpool manager has already confirmed it's likely to be a matter of months - not weeks - out for the Reds' star forward:</p>

<h2>Should Jota be sold in FPL?</h2>
<p>Taking into account the long layoff, not to mention Liverpool's blank this gameweek, selling Jota looks to be the correct decision, especially when considering the other midfield options available to FPL managers.</p>

<p>There are plenty of midfielders to consider to replace Jota, at a range of price points.</p>
