<p>Clean sheets for <strong>Filip Jorgensen</strong>, <strong>Trent Alexander-Arnold </strong>and <strong>Gabriel </strong>were combined with attacking returns aplenty to enable the AI team of the week to smash the FPL average.</p>

<h2>FPL Gameweek 28: The fixtures</h2>
<p>Liverpool top the Hub's <a href="https://www.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/fixture-ticker">fixture ticker</a> this week, hosting Southampton at Anfield.</p>
<p>The Saints have the worst expected goals conceded (xGC) record this season by some margin and they've also let in the most goals (65).</p>
<p>Worryingly for Ivan Juric's side, Liverpool top the table when it comes to expected goals (xG), while their 66 goals is the best tally in the league.</p>
<p>This mismatch indicates the Reds could score several goals, however the extent of this could be lineup dependent. They play Paris Saint-Germain in a two-legged Champions League tie either side of this fixture and rotation could be a factor.</p>
<p>Elsewhere, Chelsea continue their strong mini run of games with Leicester (H).</p>
<p>Crystal Palace's home game against Ipswich - who suffered a penalty shootout defeat in the FA Cup on Monday (March 3) - also ranks highly.</p>

<h2>FPL Gameweek 28 best players: Predicted points</h2>
<p>Salah tops the Hub AI <a href="https://www.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/predictions">predicted points</a> chart with a massive projected score of 9.8.</p>
<p>The Egyptian is more than two points ahead of Palmer in second but this prediction in based on him playing the full 90 minutes.</p>
<p>This could be reassessed following the result of the Champions League game - and ultimately FPL managers will need to make their own call on how many minutes they expect from Salah.</p>
<p>Isak <a href="https://www.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/fpl-gameweek-28-team-news">returned to Newcastle's starting 11</a> at the weekend after missing Gameweek 27. He sits third in the predicted points table, however the Magpies Carabao Cup final against Liverpool in Gameweek 29 could also have an effect on his minutes.</p>
