<p><strong>Mohamed Salah </strong>topped the metrics last week and rewarded everyone with another haul that saw him break the FPL points record with several games to spare.</p>
<p>This week however, our comfort blanket has been pulled away. Salah won't be a captaincy choice as he doesn't have a fixture.</p>

<p>Here are some notable records for our captaincy candidates:</p>
<p><strong>Haaland </strong>- Has never blanked against Brighton. He's scored three in his two home games against them.</p>
<p><strong>Fernandes</strong> - Hauled in the reverse fixture.</p>
<p><strong>Wood </strong>- Scored and picked up maximum bonus points in the reverse fixture.</p>
<p><strong>Mbeumo</strong> - Has returned in each of his last three matches against Bournemouth. He hauled away last season.</p>
<p><strong>Kluivert </strong>- Scored in the reverse fixture and only really came into his own this season.</p>
<p>For the purposes of the metric I will rank Haaland above Fernandes but Wood and Mbeumo will be equal.</p>
