<p>All three candidates this week come from the same team, therefore the team write ups won't differ and what matters most is the individual elements.</p>
<p>With just two fixtures, the variance is huge. Let's hope the luck is on our side.</p>
<p>Arsenal have scored 12 in their last six but their expected goals (xG) is only 8.74, highlighting an over-performance. Meanwhile their defensive stats are the best in the league.</p>
<p>Brentford are conceding plenty of chances, whereas Wolves have been more watertight recently.</p>
<p>When you drill down and look at home v away performances, Brentford are stronger at home, while Wolves have the second worst home defensive record in the league.</p>

<p>From an attacking perspective, Brentford's recent stats are good and Wolves don't carry much threat.</p>
<p>Pulling it all together, you'd expect Arsenal to score a reasonable amount versus both opposition and they have a strong chance of at least one clean sheet, which reflects the goal and clean sheet projections.</p>
<p>Brentford's main weakness is defending set-pieces and Rice monopolises corners, which gives him a lot of opportunities for assists.</p>
<p>He's no longer deployed as a defensive midfielder, which adds to his attacking threat and he can pick up <a href="https://www.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/fpl-2025-26-changes-defensive-contributions">defensive contributions</a>.</p>
<p>He blanked in the reverse fixture against both opposition though and hasn't picked up an attacking return in his last five but his expected assists are high.</p>
<p>A clean sheet gives him a floor of three points, so an assist wouldn't give enough of a boost when you compare his upside against a defender.</p>
