<p>There were glimmers of a return to form for Haaland but we've yet to see him ignite.</p>
<p>City’s attacking stats are the best in the league and so are their defensive stats.</p>
<p>Arsenal’s attacking stats are reasonable but it’s noticeable that they barely generated any expected goals (xG) against Bournemouth. Their defensive stats remain strong though.</p>
<p>The Gunners don’t have any major weaknesses. Their main angle of attack will be from set-pieces and therefore the City players who are good in the air could rack up a lot of defensive contributions.</p>
<p>The best fixture is against Burnley.</p>
<p>They’ve cooled on the volume of big chances they concede recently, while their weakness from wide areas has narrowed to indicate they’re just equally bad from all areas.</p>
<p>I wouldn't be put off the away fixture, as Burnley have the worst home defensive record in the league, and historically tend to roll over for City.</p>
<p>Haaland's recent stats illustrate his dip in form, as he's still averaging a reasonable amount of chances but his overall shot volume has dipped significantly, and the team's system changes mean that everything is no longer funnelled to him.</p>
<p>Arsenal don't tend to give up penalties but Burnley have conceded the most this season (seven) and City have won four.</p>
<p>Haaland has a strong record against Arsenal and has scored in each of the previous three league matches. The Norwegian picked up three returns in the reverse fixture against Burnley too.</p>
