<p>Here are some notable records for our captaincy candidates:</p>
<p><strong>Palmer - </strong>scored a hat trick at home last season and once away.</p>
<p><strong>Salah - </strong>has returned in each of his last three home matches against Brighton and has only blanked one game (away) in the last six.</p>
<p><strong>Eze - </strong>scored in both games last season, but has only scored one goal away against Wolves.</p>
<p><strong>Haaland - </strong>blanked both games last season.</p>
<p><strong>Mbeumo - </strong>braced away against Fulham last season, and the stats from the previous season have less relevance as he was playing in Ivan Toney's shadow.</p>
