<p>Salah loves to play against Newcastle. He’s scored 10 and picked up eight assists in just 14 starts. The Egyptian hasn’t blanked in the last six matches against them.</p>
<p>Liverpool look a lot more open this year, which means they won’t be able to control games out and need to outscore the opposition. Newcastle can hurt them on the counter and that should lead to lots of goals. The reverse fixture was 3-3 last season.</p>
<p>Newcastle concede more chances from the other side of the pitch, which doesn’t directly benefit Salah, but he’s added creativity to his game and could still benefit from assists.</p>
<p>There will definitely be an edge to this game. St James’s Park is a cauldron and when you combine that with the <strong>Alexander Isak</strong> issue, I expect the crowd to be vitriolic.</p>
<p>Even with a slightly diluted goal share given the abundance of forward talent, you’d expect Salah to pick up something if it turns into a goal fest.</p>
