<h2><strong>Best FPL captain for Gameweek 26: The candidates</strong></h2>
<p>This has been drafted prior to the final match of the gameweek, however <strong>Mohamed Salah</strong> has already returned with a game to go, therefore it’s safe to say it was another successful pick.</p>
<p>This week, Salah has Manchester City away, which is not typically a fixture that would attract the armband. Is there a better option?</p>

<p>Here are some notable records for our captaincy candidates:</p>
<p><strong>Isak </strong>- has never blanked against Nottingham Forest and hauled in the reverse fixture.</p>
<p><strong>Kluivert </strong>- scored a hat trick in the reverse fixture.</p>
<p><strong>Palmer </strong>- hauled in the reverse fixture, but Chelsea are in a bad moment and his strike partner is injured.</p>
<p><strong>Salah</strong> - hauled in the reverse fixture and has only blanked once (at home) in the previous nine league matches against Manchester City.</p>
<p><strong>Mbeumo </strong>- has a terrible record against Leicester.</p>
<p>For the metric, I will weight the top two and Salah equally given the different sample sizes.</p>
