<h2><strong>Best FPL captain for Gameweek 3: The candidates</strong></h2>
<p>We absolutely smashed it out of the park last week with a hat-trick from our top choice. You can’t ask for more than that and I - like many others - decided to use the <a href="https://www.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/what-is-the-fantasy-premier-league-triple-captain-and-when-to-use-it">Triple Captain</a> chip.</p>
<p>It was a nervous wait but I had a similar feeling prior to the Fulham game last season and regretted not acting on instinct, so I stuck to my guns.</p>

<p>Here are some notable records for our captaincy candidates:</p>
<p>Palmer hasn't faced Crystal Palace at home yet but you wouldn't bet against him.</p>
<p>Isak has scored a brace in each home game against Spurs.</p>
<p>Salah loves playing United. He's scored in four out of four of the last away games and has hauled significantly on three separate occasions.</p>
<p>Haaland has never blanked away to West Ham.</p>
<p>Saka blanked in his last two home games against Brighton.</p>
<p>And in regards to players people are considering transferring in and out, <strong>Bryan Mbeumo (£7.0m) </strong>got a double-digit haul last time he played Southampton at home.</p>
<p>And <strong>Eberechi Eze (£7.0m) </strong>meanwhile has a terrible record against Chelsea.</p>
