<h2><strong>Best FPL captain for Gameweek 4: The candidates</strong></h2>
<p>Welcome back from the international break, which is always such a bore in my opinion.</p>
<p>This week your captaincy decision is probably determined by which of the big two you own. But if you have both or neither it becomes more of a dilemma.</p>
<p>Which is the best one to go for and why? Read on to find out.</p>
<p>We smashed it out of the park in the last two weeks with a hat-trick from our top choice. You can’t ask for more than that.</p>

<h2 style="text-align: left;">Best FPL captain for Gameweek 4: Players' records</h2>
<p>Here are some notable records for our captaincy candidates:</p>
<p><strong>Palmer</strong> - Didn't start the away game last season.</p>
<p><strong>Salah </strong>- Has scored against Nottingham Forest every time he's started against them at home.</p>
<p><strong>Haaland</strong> - Blanked in his first game against Brentford but has returned in the last two.</p>
<p><strong>Saka</strong> - Started his Arsenal career as a left-back, so his earlier stats can be disregarded a little. In recent years he scored in both games against Spurs last season and picked up an assist away the season before.</p>
<p><strong>Eze </strong>- Doesn't have the best record against Leicester but that was under a different manager in another era.</p>
<p>For those with free transfers or on Wildcard, I thought it would be interesting to look at a few additional options:</p>
<p><strong>Isak</strong> - Has scored in every start against Wolves. He hasn't played them away yet though.</p>
<p><strong>Watkins</strong> - Blanked both games last season and hasn't scored at home against Everton before.</p>
