<p>Several Liverpool assets have put their hands up for FPL inclusion ahead of Gameweek 1, including a couple of premium midfielders in <strong>Mohamed Salah </strong>and <strong>Florian Wirtz</strong>.</p>
<p>Coming in £1m cheaper than Wirtz, Gakpo is another fantasy contender in the Reds' midfield, yet his ownership is significantly lower.</p>
<p>There could be serious value to be had here, as following the departure of <strong>Luis Diaz</strong>, there is no real senior competition for Gakpo's spot on the left wing.</p>

<p>Initially signed by Liverpool to play as a forward, Gakpo has made the left wing spot his own cutting inside on his right foot, producing 10 goals and five assists in just 23 starts last season.</p>
<p>Combined with notable aerial threat and a tendency to pop up in the box, the Dutchman has the potential to make a mockery of his £7.5m price tag - and his listing as a midfielder.</p>
<p>Unless there is sigificant transfer activity to come at Anfield, or young winger <strong>Rio Ngumoha </strong>impresses enough to pick up league minutes, it's hard to envision a world where Gakpo isn't sitting on several returns come Gameweek 5.</p>
