<p>Foden was our punt of the week in Gameweek 13, and while the trip to Craven Cottage isn't quite as favourable as Leeds at home, there is a strong run of fixtures on the horizon.</p>
<p>Manchester City's next couple of home games are against Sunderland and West Ham, and the best of Foden this season may be yet to come with his goalscoring form returning at just the right time.</p>
<p>His 15-point haul last week was a reminder of the substantial goal threat he offers, and the role he's playing for City is providing him with plenty of attacking opportunities - his average position was more advanced than <strong>Erling</strong> <strong>Haaland</strong> in the Leeds game.</p>

<p>Pep Guardiola has hailed Foden as a match-winner in recent press conferences, and while his exact role in the team varies at times, we're seeing him at his most effective playing just off of Haaland in central attacking areas.</p>
<p>Having now started 10 league matches in a row for City, Foden appears to be less rotation-prone than in seasons gone by, and with a lack of standout premium midfielders right now the £8.1m investment looks very reasonable.</p>
<p>It's also worth considering his City and England teammate <strong>Nico O'Reilly</strong>, who was one of our differential picks in Gameweeks 12 and 13 - no defender has taken more shots than O'Reilly since his first start in Gameweek 4, while only <strong>Daniel Munoz</strong> and <strong>Jurrien Timber </strong>have taken more from inside the opposition penalty area.</p>
