<h3><strong>Phil Foden (£7.5m) – Manchester City </strong><strong>– 9.7</strong><strong>% owned</strong></h3>

<p>Just squeaking into the differential classification with his ownership on the rise, <strong>Phil Foden (£7.5m)</strong> could be the midfielder to own from Manchester City right now.</p>
<p><strong>Erling Haaland (£14.0m)</strong> formed an excellent connection with Foden last season, which saw the England man grab plenty of assists, as well as finding himself in goalscoring positions while defenders were occupied with the Norwegian.</p>
<p>Foden has been a victim of rotation this season, but he scored his fourth goal of the campaign against Spurs in Gameweek 14, and has seven attacking returns in 12 starts so far.</p>
<p>Importantly, City's newest winger <strong>Jeremy Doku (£6.8m)</strong> picked up an injury last gameweek, which should strengthen Foden's chances of a start.</p>
<p>The Belgian was City's player of the month in November, and has shown impressive form playing on both wings so far, which has eaten into Foden's minutes.</p>
<p>In addition, <strong>Jack Grealish (£7.2m) </strong>is suspended after accumulating five <a href="https://cms.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/fpl-yellow-cards-23-24-season/">yellow cards</a>, so with two important wingers ruled out for City, Foden looks about as safe to start as he ever has under Pep Guardiola.</p>
<p>We've seen Foden score a hat trick against Manchester United in the past, so we know he has the potential to score multiple goals in a game, and this week he comes up against an Aston Villa side that continue to ship goals regularly, despite their impressive attacking form under Unai Emery.</p>
