<p>Josko Gvardiol has two goals and an assist in his last three appearances, and in his current vein of form he is producing attacking returns at the rate of a midfielder or forward.</p>
<p>While no-one is expecting this run to continue, City's dominance of possession is allowing their defenders to push high up the pitch, and Gvardiol is clearly relishing this freedom.</p>
<p>The Croatian also has two clean sheets in those three games, and this clean sheet potential propels him from a decent fantasy asset to a good one - as displayed by his 15-pointer last gameweek.</p>
<p>Gvardiol has been deployed largely as a left-back rather than a centre-back this season, and he has already scored a variety of goals for City on both his left and right foot.</p>
<p>If he continues to operate in a similar manner, Gvardiol should have more opportunities to pick up goals and assists as Pep Guardiola looks to wrap up the Premier League title.</p>
