<h3><strong>Liam Delap (£5.7m) – Ipswich </strong><strong>–</strong><strong> 5.2% owned</strong></h3>
<p><strong>Fixture: Everton (H)</strong></p>
<p>It's usually a surprise to see a striker from the promoted sides picking up FPL ownership early in the season, but following three goals in his last two games, Ipswich's Liam Delap has climbed above the 5% mark.</p>
<p>The former Manchester City man has made an impressive start to life at Portman Road, notching four goals in seven Premier League starts so far.</p>
<p>Delap leads his teammates in almost all attacking metrics, including shots on target and shots in the box, and this has translated into a solid rate of FPL returns so far - despite Ipswich already having faced the likes of Manchester City and Liverpool.</p>

<p>There is also a chance that Delap will be on penalties for his side, and while we're yet to receive have any concrete evidence either way, the signs are good for his chances.</p>
<p>His closest competition is <strong>Omari Hutchinson (£5.3m)</strong>, who missed a penalty in a recent EFL cup shootout while Delap converted.</p>
<p>The only other player to convert in the shootout was centre-back <strong>Cameron Burgess (£3.9m)</strong> while previous taker <strong>George Hirst (£5.4m)</strong> is yet to start a Premier League game and now appears to be playing second fiddle to Delap.</p>
<p>Midfielders <strong>Kalvin Phillips (£4.9m) </strong>and <strong>Jack Clarke (£5.5m) </strong>will also raise their hands as set-piece specialists who have taken penalties at some stage of their career, but with four goals to his name already, Delap will be hopeful of supplementing his tally from the penalty spot this season.</p>

<h3><strong>Phil Foden (£9.2m) – Manchester City </strong><strong>–</strong><strong> 5.7% owned</strong></h3>

<p>Phil Foden started his first Premier League game of the season in Gameweek 7, and the Manchester City man will be eyeing up attacking returns as his side travel to Wolves this weekend.</p>
<p>With <strong>Kevin de Bruyne (£9.4m)</strong> likely to miss out once again through injury, Foden will be heavily relied upon to create chances for Haaland, who has looked starved of service in the last couple of games.</p>
<p>The Norwegian has served up back-to-back blanks in the last two gameweeks, and Foden's presence in the City team arguably looks to be as crucial as it has ever been.</p>
<p>If deployed on the right, Foden should be able to exploit the gaps left by high-flying <strong>Rayan Ait-Nouri (£4.4m) </strong>who is practically playing as a left winger for Wolves such is his average position.</p>

<p>Foden has also dropped in price by £0.3m since Gameweek 1, and represents a slightly more affordable midfield investment than the likes of <strong>Cole</strong> <strong>Palmer (£10.8m)</strong>.</p>
<p>The City man was benched in the last game of the international break, and with his side knocked off the top of the table in the last few weeks, Pep Guardiola will be eager to get Foden firing on all cylinders.</p>
<p>Southampton make the tough trip to the Etihad following the Wolves game, so this could be the perfect time to buy low for an FPL asset who produced 27 attacking returns last season.</p>

<h3><strong>Brennan Johnson (£6.6m) – Spurs </strong><strong>–</strong><strong> 5.9% owned</strong></h3>
<p><strong>Fixture: West Ham (H)</strong></p>
<p>Brennan Johnson was our punt of the week in Gameweek 7, and the Spurs midfielder has more than doubled in ownership after scoring for the third week running - despite his side's 3-2 defeat to Brighton.</p>
<p>This hot streak is supported by the overall numbers too, with only <strong>Erling Haaland (£15.4m) </strong>and<strong> Kai Havertz (£8.3m)</strong> outdoing Johnson for shots in the box so far this season.</p>
<p>Johnson's usefulness as an FPL asset is testament to Ange Postecoglou's high risk high reward style of play, which frequently leads to high scoring affairs such as the one at the Amex in Gameweek 7.</p>

<p>The Seagulls operate with a high defensive line however, and Spurs' opponents this week present a different prospect.</p>
<p>Since Gameweek 2, only Manchester City and Chelsea have put more than a solitary goal past the Hammers, but this is not David Moyes' West Ham, and there are more risks taken in defence under Julen Lopetegui.</p>
<p>If there is a particular weakness in the Hammers backline, it's likely to be <strong>Emerson Palmieri (£4.4m) </strong>getting forward from left-back, with <strong>Aaron Wan Bisakka (£4.5m) </strong>primarily focused on providing defensive solidity on the other flank.</p>
<p>This matchup should therefore favour Johnson on the right wing, and while a clear trend is yet to emerge for West Ham in terms of chances conceded, the Welshman will be confident of making it four goals in four back on home soil.</p>
