<h2 style="text-align: left;">The Best Double Gameweek 26 Free Hit Team &#8211; Goalkeeper and Defenders</h2>
<h3>Aaron Ramsdale and <b>Gabriel (£5.1m and £5.3m)</b></h3>
<p>Arsenal are one of the most solid defences that have two games going into Double Gameweek 26. Over their last four matches they rank top for the lowest xGC per game.</p>
<p><strong>Ramsdale</strong> is my choice of keeper with the shot-stopper top of the tree for bonus points this season amongst goalkeepers (12) and a fine set of fixtures lined up for him.</p>
<p>I&#8217;ve doubled up with <strong>Gabriel</strong> at the back, ahead of my second preferred option, <strong>Tierney</strong>. The formers goal threat is much greater than the Scots assist potential and goals pay double the amount of points.</p>
<p>Opponents Brentford and Wolves aren&#8217;t free-scoring sides and Brentford have failed to score more than once since Gameweek 21.</p>

<p><strong>Alexander-Arnold</strong> is a no-brainer in most Gameweeks but there&#8217;s definitely no decision-making process here. He faces Leeds and Norwich which could easily be two clean sheets.</p>
<p>If I was to double up, I would have opted for the safety of minutes in <strong>Van Dijk</strong>.</p>

<p>Wolves have been as solid as a rock at the back; while their fixtures aren&#8217;t the easiest with games against Leicester and Arsenal, I think they will be able to pick up one clean sheet.</p>
<p>Wolves have kept nine clean sheets this season, the highest of those that are outside of the &#8216;big six&#8217;.</p>
<p><strong>Saiss</strong> ranks top for xG amongst Wolves defenders over the season but he&#8217;s behind <strong>Ait-Nouri</strong> for xGI per game. However, I feel the latter isn&#8217;t as likely to start both games with the chance of <strong>Marcal</strong> taking away some minutes.</p>

<h3><strong>Mohamed Salah</strong><strong> and Sadio Mane (£13.0m and £11.7m)</strong></h3>
<p>I think a Liverpool double up in attack is a priority this week and with <strong>Jota ruled out</strong>, <strong>Salah and Mane</strong> were the straightforward and safest combo to back, albeit them accounting for nearly one quarter of the budget.</p>
<p>Norwich and Leeds in a Double Gameweek is the stuff of dreams as you couldn&#8217;t really ask for much better and it clearly makes Liverpool the team with the best fixtures.</p>

<h3><strong>Jarrod Bowen (£7.1m)</strong></h3>
<p><strong>Bowen</strong> is the only player in the Free Hit XI to not have a double. I would&#8217;ve liked to stretch to other players but due to budget constraints and his brilliant value, he is my top pick in midfield for those who play once.</p>
<p>The midfielder is in red hot form and faces Newcastle. His opponents have been extremely good defensively since Gameweek 19 during a run of kind fixtures and they were the best for xGC outside of the &#8216;big six&#8217; but I still think it is a good fixture for West Ham and Bowen.</p>

<h3><strong>Wilfried Zaha (£7.2m)</strong></h3>
<p>Crystal Palace have a bit of a middling Double Gameweek with the key game being the second one against a poor Watford side.</p>
<p>Chelsea haven&#8217;t played a Premier League game in a while which could come to the benefit of Crystal Palace but I don&#8217;t see many goals for the Eagles in their first match.</p>
<p>I&#8217;ve opted for <strong>Zaha</strong> from their midfielders with his minutes being very secure at the moment. He is likely to be on penalty duties when Milivojevic misses out even though he took one of the worst penalties in professional football last week.</p>
<p>He accumulated a non pen xGI of 0.43 in his last two games which is not phenomenal but I think he&#8217;s the best Palace midfielder to punt on with minutes a worry for a number of players.</p>

<h3><strong>Bukayo Saka (£6.4m)</strong></h3>
<p>I&#8217;ve only room for one Arsenal attacker this week and their midfield options are definitely the place to look. I have favoured <strong>Saka</strong> who provides great value and my decision was aided by Martinelli&#8217;s suspension.</p>
<p>Lacazette has the highest xGI since over Arsenals last six games (6.2) compared to Saka&#8217;s 2.8. Statistically it looks a no brainer to go for Lacazette but there&#8217;s something about him from past times in the XI and his added price that has made me lean to Saka.</p>
<p>Penalties also help Lacazette but his numbers are strong without them, so I can understand those tempted to pick him.</p>
<p>Arsenal face Brentford and Wolves. I think Arsenal can get returns in both with Brentford in the top 6 for xGC and Wolves in the lower half. The Wolves match looks like it should be a low scoring affair so I&#8217;m hoping Saka can get the business done in the first game.</p>

<h2 style="text-align: left;">The Best Double Gameweek 26 Free Hit Team &#8211; Forwards</h2>
<h3>Harry Kane (£12.2m)</h3>
<p>Kane is coming into this double on the back of another dry spell with three blanks in a row. He accumulated an xGI of 2.1 over that time so it seems like Kane was unlucky to come away empty-handed.</p>
<p>The first of the two fixtures is a tough one against Man City so I&#8217;m expecting the points to come in the Burnley game.</p>
<p>Burnley, however, only shipped two goals against Man Utd and Liverpool and kept two clean sheets in their previous two games.</p>
<p>They have averaged an xGC of 1.6 per game in that period, so it is likely poor finishing and Pope heroics who&#8217;ve engineered four good defensive outcomes.</p>

<p>There aren&#8217;t a plethora of attackers that are viable options at the moment but Jimenez takes the final spot in a two pronged attack. The Wolves striker is nailed to start both games and faces the worst defence in the league in Leicester and a tougher away trip to Arsenal.</p>
<p>Jimenez ranks second to Kane for xG over his last four games (0.49) so I&#8217;m hoping for a steady return of points</p>
