<h2 style="text-align: left;">The Best FPL Forwards for Double Gameweek 31?</h2>
<h3><strong><br />
Cristiano Ronaldo (£12.2m) – Manchester United</strong></h3>
<p><strong>Fixture: Leicester City (H)</strong></p>
<p>Following his hat trick in Gameweek 29, Cristiano Ronaldo sits on 12 goals and three assists in only 21 starts, and is the second highest scoring forward in the game. He has an xG of 13.20 (2<sup>nd</sup> amongst forwards) and an xA of 5.25 (4<sup>th</sup> amongst forwards).</p>
<p>Manchester United welcome Leicester City to Old Trafford in Double Gameweek 31. I really like this game for United from an attacking perspective. The Foxes have been one of the worst defensive sides in the league this season, conceding 46 goals (15<sup>th</sup>) with an xGC of 51.0 (18<sup>th</sup>).</p>
<p>Brendan Rodgers' side have suffered a lot of defensive injuries throughout the season, and haven’t been able to shore up the defence.</p>
<p>The Red Devils have scored 48 goals (5<sup>th</sup>) with an xG of 49.3 (5<sup>th</sup>) so I don’t see them having any problems in the final third here.</p>
<p>Ronaldo will continue getting plenty of chances in this United side, especially being the first choice centre-forward. Despite playing fewer games than most forwards, his stats are still amongst the best, which shows just how dangerous he remains.</p>
<p>Also, the Portuguese is not just a great option this week - he faces Everton in <a href="https://www.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/fixture-ticker">Gameweek 32, and then a double in Gameweek 33 which includes Norwich at home.</a></p>
<p>Ronaldo is the highest predicted scoring forward from the players who have a single fixture (7.0 points) for Double Gameweek 31 according to our <strong><a href="https://fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/predictions/">Points Prediction Tool</a></strong> and is also at 61% to score at anytime.</p>

<h3><strong>Wout Weghorst (£6.4m) – Burnley</strong></h3>
<p><strong>Fixtures: Man City (H) and Everton (H)</strong></p>
<p>Wout Weghorst has one goal and two assists in nine starts for Burnley. He has 10 Shots in the Box, with an xG of 1.46 and has also created 6 Chances with an xA of 0.85. The Clarets have had quite a tough run of fixtures though, playing Man United, Liverpool, Spurs and Chelsea in their last eight games.</p>
<p>Burnley are only one of two teams with a double in Gameweek 31. They come up against Man City (H) and Everton (H). Sean Dyche's men haven't been great going forward at all - in fact, only Norwich are worse than them going forward. The Lancashire club have scored 22 goals (19<sup>th</sup>) with an xG of 26.3 (19<sup>th</sup>).</p>
<p>However, they do have a very favourable game against Everton in the second half of their double, which in my opinion makes Weghorst worth inclusion. Especially when we don’t have an array of forward options available.</p>
<p>The Toffees have conceded 47 goals (16<sup>th</sup>) with an xGC of 45.0 (13<sup>th</sup>) and they have only played 27 games, which is around two games more than their rivals. Therefore, despite Burnley’s poor attack, I can see them scoring here.</p>
<p>Also, I would see their game against City as a bonus. They are very unlikely to score against the best defence in the league, but the Everton fixture alone could be worth it.</p>
<p>We also have to account for how good a forward Weghorst is. At Wolfsburg, he managed 59 goals and 19 assists, with an xG of 60.56 and an xA of 14.20. He won't reach those numbers with Burnley, but should do enough to justify his price.</p>
<p>The Dutch forward is the third highest predicted scoring forward (7.0 points) largely due to playing twice, according to our <a href="https://fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/predictions/">Points Prediction Tool.</a></p>

<h3><strong>Rodrigo (£6.2m) – Leeds United</strong></h3>
<p><strong>Fixture: Southampton (H)</strong></p>
<p>Rodrigo has two goals in his last two games for Leeds United, and has netted five and made two assists over the season in 20 starts. He wasn’t a sure starter under Marcelo Bielsa, but it seems like the new manager has different plans for him. Jesse Marsch has publicly stated that he sees Rodrigo as a key player for Leeds, and his last two performances have been impressive.</p>
<p>He has registered 19 Shots in the Box with an xG of 4.57, and created 32 Chances with an xA of 2.78. We can see by his stats that he is an all-round player, with both goal and assist threat.</p>
<p>Leeds play Southampton at home in Gameweek 31. The Saints have conceded 45 goals (14<sup>th</sup>) with an xGC of 46.4 (15<sup>th</sup>) so are pretty much bottom five when it comes to defence.</p>
<p>Although Leeds haven't been as good as last season attacking-wise, this does look like a game which will be high scoring due to both defences being leaky. They have scored 34 goals (12<sup>th</sup>) with an xG of 42.1 (9<sup>th</sup>) which isn’t as bad as their league position suggests.</p>
<p>Marsch has started both Rodrigo and Bamford in their last two games, which shows that he likes the two upfront. With Bamford potentially injured, Rodrigo could play as the centre forward, rather than the number 10 role he has currently been occupying.</p>

<h3><strong>Che Adams (£6.9m) – Southampton</strong></h3>
<p><strong>Fixture: Leeds United (a)</strong></p>
<p>Che Adams has had a decent season for Southampton, netting seven times and creating four assists. He has 36 Shots in the Box with an xG of 6.40, and has created 25 Chances with an xA of 4.33. He has been decent value at his price as of late.</p>
<p>The Saints travel to Elland Road for a fixture against Leeds United in Double Gameweek 31. As I mentioned above, I can see this being a high scoring game, with both defences suspect while boasting decent attacks.</p>
<p>The Whites have conceded 67 goals (20<sup>th</sup>) with an xGC of 58.7 (19<sup>th</sup>). They have arguably been worse than bottom of the table Norwich when it comes to defending, and I can’t see them keeping a clean sheet here either.</p>
<p>Southampton have scored 36 goals (11<sup>th</sup>) with an xG of 43.7 (8<sup>th</sup>) and have more than enough good attackers to breach the Leeds defence. Che Adams seems to be nailed to start now, and looks like the best forward option for Ralph Hassenhuttl’s team.</p>
<p>He is an all-round FPL asset who can score and assist, and he has a very nice fixture here to add to his attacking returns.</p>

<h3><strong>Harry Kane (£12.5m) – Tottenham Hotspur</strong></h3>
<p><strong>Fixture: Newcastle United (H)</strong></p>
<p>Harry Kane has been unstoppable in the second half of the season. He has now returned in his last five league games, and has a total of 12 goals and six assists for the season.  His underlying numbers have been amongst the best too, and he is first for both xG (15.66) and xA (8.77) amongst forwards. He is also now the highest scoring forward in the game.</p>
<p>Tottenham Hotspur have a plum fixture in Gameweek 31. They take on Newcastle United, who have conceded 49 goals (17<sup>th</sup>) with an xGC of 49.4 (17<sup>th</sup>). The Toon are a much improved side since Eddie Howe took over, but they do still tend to concede a fair few chances.</p>
<p>Spurs have been good going forward, especially since Conte took over. They have scored 47 goals (6<sup>th</sup>) with an xG of 51.8 (3<sup>rd</sup>). Only Liverpool and Manchester City have a better xG than them this season.</p>
<p>Kane now looks like an almost essential player for the run-in. He has a great <a href="https://www.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/fixture-ticker">fixture</a> this week, and also a great run all the way until the end of the season - including a yet to be announced double for Spurs.</p>
<p>The England forward can score, assist and is also on penalties. With so few forward options this season, it makes him even more attractive.</p>
