<h2 style="text-align: left;">Who are the Best FPL Forwards For Gameweek 9?</h2>

Romelu Lukaku (£11.7m) – Chelsea</h3>
Fixture: Norwich (H)
Romelu Lukaku has now gone four league games without a goal or assist.
He has had 16 Shots in the Box, 6 Shots on Target and an xG of 2.50. Lukaku has also created 3 Big Chances with an xA of 2.13.
The Belgian has been unfortunate not to have scored in this run though. A few marginal offside goals and Big Chances missed have resulted in a lot of doubts surrounding the former Inter Milan striker.
His stats are still good and I am confident returns are imminent.
Chelsea play their best fixture of the season in Gameweek 9.  They welcome bottom of the table Norwich to Stamford Bridge.
The Canaries have conceded 16 goals (19th), 84 Shots in the Box (18th), 21 Big Chances (19th) with an xGC of 15 (19th).
The Blues have scored 16 goals (2nd) so far with an xG of 12.8 (5th) and with the firepower they have in attack, this looks like it's going to be a one-sided affair.
Despite Lukaku’s recent blanks, it should fill owners with confidence that he is still getting chances and getting into good positions.
It will come as no surprise that Lukaku is the favourite to score anytime this week at a healthy 60% according to the bookmakers. Chelsea are also the favourites to score 2.5+ goals also (53%).
Furthermore, the Belgian international is predicted to score the most points (7.3) in Gameweek 8 amongst all players according to our <a href="https://cms.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/predictions/">Points Prediction Tool</a>.

<h3>Harry Kane (£12.1m) – Tottenham Hotspur</h3>
Fixture: West Ham (a)
Harry Kane finally got off the mark this season with a goal and assist last weekend against Newcastle United.
He has improved vastly in his stats in the last two games. Kane was unfortunate to not have notched a goal against Aston Villa in Gameweek 7 also.
In the last two, he has an xG of 1.40 (2nd) and an xA of 1.04 (2nd). He and Spurs seemed to have turned a corner who have scored five goals in their last few games (3rd).
Spurs come up against London rivals West Ham in Gameweek 9 who have been pretty good defensively.
The Hammers have conceded 10 goals (7th) with an xGC of 10 (7th).
However, Tottenham look much improved and more importantly so does Harry Kane.
We saw the numbers he produced last season with 23 goals and 14 assists. There is no reason to believe he can't achieve similar numbers again.
When Kane is firing, he is capable of hauls against any opposition and has both goals and assists in his locker.
He was the talisman for Spurs last season with a Goal Involvement of 56% and I don’t expect that to change.
His partnership with Heung-Min Son (£10.1m) is also vital to Tottenham’s success and now both are firing. The England forward is also on <a href="https://cms.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/premier-league-set-piece-takers/">penalties</a>.
He is also the second favourite to score anytime in Gameweek 9 (51%) according to the bookies.
Our <a href="https://cms.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/predictions/">Points Prediction Tool</a> ranks him as the second highest predicted points scorer (5.8) amongst forwards.

<h3>Jamie Vardy (£10.5m) – Leicester City</h3>
Fixture: Brentford (a)
The Foxes forward is now the joint top scorer (7) in the league as well as the highest scoring forward in the game (56 points).
He has gone largely ignored and is still only at 17% ownership despite his fine form.
Vardy will surely be considered as a fierce rival to the likes of Romelu Lukaku and Cristiano Ronaldo (£12.5m) as the premium striker of choice.
The 34-year-old has 21 Shots in the Box (4th), 12 Shots on Target (2nd) and an xG of 3.97 (4th). He has also created 9 Chances with an xA of 1.11.
Leicester City come up against Brentford in Gameweek 9 who have been fantastic. They have only conceded 7 goals (4th) with an xGC of 8.1 (2nd).
However, Leicester City have been good going forward, scoring 8 goals (2nd) in the last three and 13 goals overall (4th).
With them scoring four goals against Manchester United last week, and Vardy grabbing his fifth goal in four games, he is a great option this week despite the tough opposition.
He currently has a Goal Involvement of 62% for Leicester and is their main source of goals.
Vardy looks well on his way to hitting 15-20 goals again and he also has assists in his arsenal too. He managed 14 last season.
Furthermore, he is nailed to play 90 minutes in most games and is also on <a href="https://cms.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/premier-league-set-piece-takers/">penalties</a>.
Our <a href="https://cms.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/predictions/">Points Prediction Tool</a> ranks him fourth amongst forwards for predicted points (5.3). Vardy is also at 55% for anytime returns.

<h3>Ivan Toney (£6.4m) – Brentford</h3>
Fixture: Leicester City (H)
Ivan Toney has two goals and two assists to his name this season. Brentford have also hit the ground running in the Premier League.
He has managed 13 Shots in the Box, with an xG of 2.10 while creating 5 Big Chances (1st) with an xA of 2.75 (2nd).
Toney is an all-round forward and looks great value for only £6.4m. This is especially the case now with the run of games he has coming up.
Brentford come up against Leicester City in Gameweek 9 who have been very leaky at the back.
They have conceded 14 goals (17th) with an xGC of 11.9 (13th). The Foxes have also conceded the second most shots in the box (86).
The Bees have been good defensively but also going forward. They have scored 10 goals (6th) with an xG of 11.3 (8th).
This is quite impressive considering they have played Chelsea, West Ham, Liverpool and Wolves in the last four who are all good defensive sides.
Toney is the talisman for Brentford and thus completely nailed. He is also the first choice <a href="https://cms.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/premier-league-set-piece-takers/">penalty taker</a> and with their favourable run, I can only see his output increasing.
Brentford scored the most goals in the Championship last season (79). They have already proven they won't struggle to score in the Premier League either.

<h3>Callum Wilson (£7.3m) – Newcastle United</h3>
Fixture: Crystal Palace (a)
Callum Wilson scored upon his return against Spurs after a four game absence due to injury.
He is Newcastle United’s most important player and they need him fit if they are to avoid relegation.
Wilson missed 11 games through injury last season. However, he maintained his talismanic status for Newcastle with a Goal Involvement of 51%.
The former Bournemouth striker also has a 50% GI this season in the games he has played.
If he stays fit, he will end the season as Newcastle's top scorer again and provide great value for £7.5m.
He is not only a goal scorer but can assist too. Last season, he scored 12 goals with 6 assists and registered 49 Shots, 20 Shots on Target, 44 Shots in the Box and 21 Big Chances.
Wilson also created 18 Chances and 4 Big Chances.
Newcastle come up against Crystal Palace in Gameweek 9 who have been pretty solid defensively with an xGC of 9.7 (6th).
Although the Toon have been poor in defence, they haven't had trouble scoring with 10 goals (6th).
With Wilson back available, they are a much more potent side. He is also their number one <a href="https://cms.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/premier-league-set-piece-takers/">penalty taker</a>.
