<h2 style="text-align: left;">The Best FPL Midfielders for Blank Gameweek 30</h2>

<h3><strong>Heung-Min Son (£10.8m) – Spurs</strong></h3>
<p><strong>Fixture: West Ham United (H)</strong></p>
<p>Heung-Min Son has an impressive total of 11 goals and seven assists at the time of writing. He also has an xG of 10.35 and an xA of 6.10. The South Korean has been ever-reliable this season, and is the only premium midfield option with a fixture this week.</p>
<p>Spurs welcome West Ham United in Blank Gameweek 30. The Hammers have conceded 36 goals (8<sup>th</sup>) with an xG of 44.7 (6<sup>th</sup>) so I don’t see this game being a walkover for Tottenham, but they will have the home advantage, and do have the better attackers.</p>
<p>The bookies have them as the second favourites to score 2.5+ goals (28%).</p>
<p>Antonio Conte’s men have also have scored 42 goals (6<sup>th</sup>) with an xG of 47.3 (5<sup>th</sup>) so clearly have more than enough to score here, and Son has been heavily involved in their success in the final third.</p>
<p>I like this game for Son, and looking at his underlying numbers he is definitely one of the best options for Blank Gameweek 30. He actually has a Goal Involvement rate of 46% (1<sup>st</sup> among midfielders) and is also on corners and free kicks.</p>
<p>With only five fixtures being played this week, he and teammate Harry Kane will be the most captained assets.</p>
<p>Our <a href="https://fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/predictions/">Points Prediction Tool</a> has him as the joint highest predicted scoring player overall (6.0 points) for Blank Gameweek 30.</p>

<h3><strong>Raphinha (£6.5m) – Leeds United</strong></h3>
<p><strong>Fixture: Wolves (a)</strong></p>
<p>Raphinha has nine goals and three assists this season in 26 starts. He has 31 Shots in the Box, with an xG of 7.50, and has also created 65 Chances with an xA of 6.90. It was yet another frustrating watch for the Brazilian’s owners against Norwich, as he hit the woodwork twice and was again so close to a big haul.</p>
<p>Leeds United will be buoyed by their last-minute winner against Norwich last week, but they face a much tougher task in Blank Gameweek 30. The Whites come up against Wolves away from home, who have been one of the best defensive sides in the league.</p>
<p>They have only conceded 23 goals (4<sup>th</sup>) with an xGC of 38.3 (7<sup>th</sup>). However, with the lack of choices this Gameweek, Raphinha becomes a good option by default. If Leeds do get something from this game, it’s likely to be through him.</p>
<p>He has by far the highest Goal Involvement (40%) in his team, and is on almost all set-pieces including corners, free kicks and penalties.</p>
<p>Leeds have been playing much better than their last two results suggest, and have been unfortunate not to score more. They have had an xG of 4.3, but only scored two.</p>

<h3><strong>Bukayo Saka (£6.4m) – Arsenal</strong></h3>
<p><strong>Fixture: Aston Villa (a)</strong></p>
<p>Bukayo Saka has had a great season, notching eight goals and six assists. The England international has an xG of 6.34, and an xA of 5.92, boasting the best stats among the Arsenal attack.</p>
<p>Arsenal have a tricky fixture away to Aston Villa in Blank Gameweek 30. The Villains have conceded 39 goals (10<sup>th</sup>) with an xGC of 39.4 (11<sup>th</sup>) and have visibly improved since Steven Gerrard took the reins.</p>
<p>However, the Gunners have also been impressive this season, and are currently on course to finish in the top four. They have scored 43 goals (5<sup>th</sup>) with an xG of 40 (8<sup>th</sup>) and have a very potent attack now, with the likes of Saka, Martinelli, Odegaard and Lacazette.</p>
<p>The North London club will be favourites for this one, despite being away from home, and this is a fixture I could see fair few goals in. Both teams have good attacking players, and I can't see either side holding back.</p>
<p>Saka has the best underlying numbers of all Arsenal players, and looking at his price and expected minutes, he is one of the best assets for Blank Gameweek 30.</p>

<h3><strong>Philippe Coutinho (£7.4m) – Aston Villa</strong></h3>
<p><strong>Fixture: Arsenal (H)</strong></p>
<p>Philippe Coutinho has had a great start to his Aston Villa career. In just nine starts, he has four goals and three assists, registering an xG of 2.63 and an xA of 2.54.</p>
<p>Villa play Arsenal at home in Blank Gameweek 30. This is a difficult game to call, but I think it's unlikely that the Villains don’t score here. Mikel Arteta's team are at 33% to keep a clean sheet according to the bookmakers, so goals look likely in this one.</p>
<p>The Gunners have only conceded 29 goals (5<sup>th</sup>) with an xGC of 34.8 (5<sup>th</sup>) but Villa have scored 27 goals (6<sup>th</sup>) since Gerrard took over (Gameweek 12), with an xG of 22.1 (13<sup>th</sup>), winning eight games in the process.</p>
<p>Coutinho is looking like their best attacking option at the moment; he is the one pulling the strings in that midfield, and is also very capable of scoring too, which he has shown already.</p>
<p>Over his career, he has 59 goals and 38 assists (league games) with an xG of 52.55 and an xA of 35.68 across three different leagues.</p>

<h3><strong>Harvey Barnes (£7.0m) – Leicester City</strong></h3>
<p><strong>Fixture: Brentford (H)</strong></p>
<p>Harvey Barnes has three goals and seven assists in his 18 starts this season. He has 36 Shots in the Box, with an xG of 5.70, and has created 25 Chances, with an xA of 4.25.</p>
<p>Leicester City look to have the best fixture in Blank Gameweek 30. They face Brentford, who have conceded 45 goals (15<sup>th</sup>) with an xGC of 43.9 (13<sup>th</sup>).</p>
<p>Although the Foxes have been poor at the back, they look a different prospect when it comes to attack. They have scored 40 goals (7<sup>th</sup>) with an xG of 37.1 (11<sup>th</sup>) and have only played 26 games, which is two to three fewer than most teams.</p>
<p>Leicester are also the bookies favourites to score 2.5+ goals (34%) this week, so one of their attacking assets looks a good shout.</p>
<p>Barnes has the highest xG from the Leicester midfielders, and looks the best bet this week. James Maddison (£6.7m) is a slight risk due to his ongoing injury problems, and there is a bit of doubt around which one of the forwards, Daka (£7.1m) and Iheanacho (£6.9m), will start.</p>
<p>Harvey also ranks high on our <a href="https://www.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/predictions">Points Prediction Tool</a>, which has him as the second highest predicted scoring midfielder for Blank Gameweek 30.</p>
