<h2 style="text-align: left">The Best FPL Midfielders for Double Gameweek 26</h2>
<h3><strong><br />
Jarrod Bowen (£7.0m) – West Ham United</strong></h3>
<p><strong>Fixture: Newcastle United (H)</strong></p>
<p>With his goal and assist last gameweek <strong>Jarrod</strong> <strong>Bowen</strong> took his returns tally to an incredible eight goals and 13 assists.</p>
<p>He has no doubt been the best value player in the game this season and is even putting up elite-level stats. He has 48 Shots in the Box with an xG of 9.55 (5<sup>th</sup><sup> </sup>amongst midfielders) and has created 40 Chances with an xA 6.03 (4<sup>th</sup> overall).</p>
<p><strong>West</strong> <strong>Ham</strong> <strong>United</strong> don’t have a double this gameweek but they do have a very favourable fixture in<strong> Newcastle United (H)</strong> which makes their attackers warrant inclusion.</p>
<p>The Toon have conceded 44 goals (18<sup>th</sup>) with an xGC of 42.1 (18<sup>th</sup>) and have been one of the poorest defensive sides over the course of the season.</p>
<p>The Hammers are enjoying a great season in contrast and have no problems in scoring whatsoever. They have scored 44 goals (4<sup>th</sup>) with an xG of 39.4 (5<sup>th</sup>) and are well in contention for a top-four finish.</p>
<p><strong>Bowen</strong> has simply been incredible this season. He has both goal and assist threat, is on set pieces, and at <strong>£7.0m</strong> is the second highest scoring midfielder in the game. He just has so many avenues to points and plays in a good attacking side.</p>

<h3><strong>Mohamed Salah (£13.0m) – Liverpool</strong></h3>
<p><strong>Fixture: Norwich (H) and Leeds United (H)</strong></p>
<p>Mohamed Salah surprisingly has only one goal in his last five games for Liverpool. However, I wouldn’t take any note of this and would just put it down to happenstance. He really is a must-own this season. He has 16 goals and 10 assists with an xG of 16.25 (1<sup>st</sup>) and an xA of 8.55 (1<sup>st</sup>).</p>
<p>Liverpool play Norwich and Leeds United in <a href="https://cms.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/double-gameweek-26-announced/">Double Gameweek 26</a> in what is probably the best double we have had in years. The Canaries have conceded 50 goals (20<sup>th</sup>) with an xGC of 45.2 (20<sup>th</sup>) and Leeds have conceded 46 goals (19<sup>th</sup>) with an xGC of 41.2 (17<sup>th</sup>).</p>
<p>The Reds have scored 61 goals (1<sup>st</sup>) with an xG of 61.4 (1<sup>st</sup>) so a prime fixture to use the <a href="https://cms.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/should-you-play-the-triple-captain-in-double-gameweek-26-fpl-chip-strategy-2021-22/">Triple Captain</a> on the Egyptian. He will be very highly captained of course and I imagine most of those who still have their triple captain will use it here and rightly so.</p>
<p>Jurgen Klopp's team are also favourites in both games to score 2.5+ goals at 54% against Norwich and 45% versus Leeds.</p>
<p>There is no doubt Salah has been phenomenal this season and his underlying numbers match his output. He simply has to be your captain this week and if you have the <a href="https://cms.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/what-is-the-fantasy-premier-league-triple-captain-and-when-to-use-it/">Triple Captain chip</a> then I doubt we will have a <a href="https://cms.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/fixture-ticker/">better set of fixtures</a> to use it in years to come.</p>
<p>Our <a href="https://cms.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/predictions/">Points Prediction Tool</a> ranks Salah as the clear highest predicted scorer (18.5 points) in Double Gameweek 26 and he is also at 86% (1<sup>st</sup>) to score at anytime over the two games.</p>

<h3><strong>Diogo Jota (£8.5m) – Liverpool</strong></h3>
<p><strong>Fixture: Norwich (H) and Leeds United (H)</strong></p>
<p>Diogo Jota has now amassed an impressive 12 goals and three assists with 57 Shots in the Box and an xG of 11.21 (2<sup>nd</sup> overall). He has also created 34 Chances with an xA of 5.30 (10<sup>th</sup> overall). He only trails his Egyptian teammate in goals scored and an xG.</p>
<p>As mentioned above Liverpool have a hugely favourable double as they take on two very poor defences. It definitely makes sense to have three players from the Merseyside club and the two best attackers are Mohamed Salah and Diogo Jota.</p>
<p>The Portuguese may be a minutes risk now with Roberto Firimino back in the picture and also with the signing of Luis Diaz. However, he is clearly still the first choice in that team and I still think he is worth including.</p>
<p>His stats are just too good and even at his increased price of £8.5m he is worth every penny.</p>
<p>His underlying numbers and output make him one of the best options in the game and he will no doubt score plenty more goals over the course of the season. I think he starts both games in this double but even if he comes off the bench for one he is still a better option than most other midfielders for Double Gameweek 26.</p>

<h3><strong>Heung-Min Son (£10.7m) – Spurs</strong></h3>
<p><strong>Fixture: Manchester City (a) and Burnley (a)</strong></p>
<p>Heung-Min Son has registered nine goals and five assists in 19 starts and has had an attacking return in seven of his last eight starts. He has 31 Shots in the Box with an xG of 8.06 (6<sup>th</sup> amongst midfielders) and has also created 36 Chances with an xA of 4.00.</p>
<p>Tottenham Hotspur play Manchester City (a) and Burnley (a) in Double Gameweek 26.</p>
<p>The Clarets have conceded 29 goals (7<sup>th</sup>) with an xGC of 34.9 (9<sup>th</sup>) and sit bottom of the league at the moment. This is, of course, the fixture Spurs will be favourites for and Son has been their best player this season chipping in with goals and assists.</p>
<p>Their fixture against City is the hardest game for them all season, on paper. However, with Spurs counter-attacking style I feel Son could be the one to score here if Antonio Conte's men do indeed manage to get something. The South Korean is also on a lot of set pieces including corners so has many ways to score points.</p>
<p>He also has a pretty good record against the Blues scoring seven goals against them in a Spurs shirt.</p>
<p>Generally, Son has been Tottenham’s best player this season and talisman with an impressive 56% Goal Involvement in the games he has played.</p>

<h3><strong>Bukayo Saka (£6.4m) – Arsenal</strong></h3>
<p><strong>Fixture: Brentford (H) and Wolves (H)</strong></p>
<p>Bukayo Saka has enjoyed a very good season so far with six goals, five assists and some very impressive performances. He has nailed down a spot as a first-team player under Mikel Arteta. The English midfielder has registered 37 Shots in the Box with an xG of 5.00 and has also created 41 Chances with an xA of 4.92.</p>
<p>Arsenal welcome Brentford and Wolves to the Emirates in Double Gameweek 26. The Bees have conceded 40 goals (16<sup>th</sup>) with an xGC of 36.8 (13<sup>th</sup>). This is the standout game for them out of the two fixtures and the one likely to yield the most goals.</p>
<p>Wolves have only conceded 17 goals (2<sup>nd</sup>) with an xGC of 29.6 (6<sup>th</sup>) which makes them one of the best defences in the league but the Gunners will still be favourites for this game and with their attack I see them scoring.</p>
<p>Plus the North London club have been good going forward scoring 34 goals (6<sup>th</sup>) with an xG of 35.2 (7<sup>th</sup>).</p>
<p>Saka has the <a href="https://cms.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/opta/">best underlying numbers</a> from the Arsenal attackers and looking at his price and expected minutes I see him as a great option this week. Our <a href="https://cms.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/predictions/">Price Prediction Tool</a> also has him as the fifth highest scoring midfielder (8.7 points) for Double Gameweek 26.</p>
