<h2>Who are the Best FPL Midfielders For Gameweek 19?</h2>

Phil Foden (£8.1m) – Manchester City</h3>
Fixture: Leicester City (H)
In eight starts Phil Foden has four goals and four assists with 20 Shots in the Box and an xG of 3.70. He has also created 28 Chances with an xA of 4.15 (5th). Although he was rested against Newcastle United last gameweek he still remains one of Pep Guardiola’s most important players this season.
Manchester City welcome Leicester City to the Etihad in Gameweek 19. The Citizens have been prolific in front of goal lately and seem to be a class above the rest of the league right now. They have scored 44 goals (2nd) with an xG of 43.2 (2nd) and this could well be another fixture in which they rack up a big scoreline.
The Foxes have been leaky this season, conceding 27 goals (15th) with an xGC of 26.7 (14th) and have only managed to keep two clean sheets so far.
City have really upped the ante in the final third with 11 goals in the last two games and they are actually the second favourites to score 2.5+ goals (42%) in Gameweek 19.
The bookmakers also have Foden at a healthy 44% to score at anytime. I think the England international will start this one against Leicester. Pep mentioned ‘behavioural issues’ in regards to the reason for benching him last gameweek so you would think that he has had his punishment served.

<h3>Mohamed Salah (£13.1m) – Liverpool</h3>
Fixture: Leeds United (H)
Mohamed Salah endured only his second blank of the season last gameweek against Spurs after going 15 games on the trot with an attacking return. It was bound to happen sooner or later and this makes no difference to his status as perma-captain for me this season.
The Egyptian has 15 goals and 10 assists with 57 Shots in the Box (1st) with an xG of 12.90 (1st). He has also now created 46 Chances with an xA of 7.60 (1st).
Liverpool have a very enticing fixture as they take on Leeds United at home in Gameweek 19. Marcelo Bielsa’s men have really struggled this season and find themselves well and truly in the relegation battle right now. They have conceded 36 goals (19th) with an xGC of 32.9 (19th).
The Reds continue to score goals at will and have already notched 50 goals (1st) with an xG of 45.9 (1st) in only 18 games. I can only see them adding to these metrics in this game and wouldn’t be surprised to see another big win here for Jurgen Klopp’s men.
Mohamed Salah is again the favourite to score at anytime at an extraordinary 69%.
Unsurprisingly our <a href="https://cms.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/predictions/">Points Prediction Tool</a> also has him as the highest predicted points scorer overall for Gameweek 19 with 8.5 points.

<h3>Gabriel Martinelli (£5.3m) – Arsenal</h3>
Fixture: Norwich (a)
Gabriel Martinelli has burst onto the scene in the last few weeks and has really impressed with his performances and stats. In only seven starts this season he has four goals and three assists with 15 Shots in the Box and an xG of 2.77, while also creating 18 Chances with an xA of 1.76.
The Brazilian looks to have earned his place as a first-team starter under Mikel Arteta with three goals and one assist in his last three games and his stats tell us that he is a great option. Especially at a snip price of only £5.3m.
Arsenal travel to Carrow Road for a fixture against Norwich in Gameweek 19.  Dean Smith’s men look destined for the drop as they sit bottom of the league having conceded 34 goals (18th) with an xGC of 30.4 (18th).
The Gunners have been on a fine run of form scoring nine goals in the last three games but also 27 goals (5th) over the season with an xG of 29.0 (4th).
Martinelli seems to have played a big role in their current good run and will no doubt score very well over the season looking at his stats, if he is given the minutes.

He is currently one of the best value players in the game.

<h3>Diogo Jota (£8.1m) – Liverpool</h3>
Fixture: Leeds United (H)
The Liverpool forward is another fantastic value option with incredible stats and output. He has already managed to score 10 goals and one assist in only 14 starts this season.
He has 44 Shots in the Box (3rd) with an xG of 9.07 (2nd) and has created 27 Chances with an xA of 4.31 (6th). His underlying numbers are simply remarkable, especially for his price.
The Portuguese has another very kind fixture to add to his attacking returns here as he comes up against a depleted Leeds United team. His form has been so good that I don’t see him being rested even with Roberto Firmino fit and playing again.
Liverpool are strong favourites to win this game and Jota is very likely to be involved again. This could be another heavy defeat for the Whites and the bookmakers agree. They have the Reds priced as the favourites to score 2.5+ goals (48%).
The bookmakers also have Diogo Jota as the second favourite to score at anytime at 60% and our <a href="https://cms.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/predictions/">Price Prediction Tool</a> as ranks him as the 4th highest predicted points scorer (6.8) for Gameweek 19.

Heung-Min Son (£10.3m) – Spurs</h3>
Fixture: Crystal Palace (H)
Heung-Min Son has three goals and one assist in his last three games and also seven goals and three assists over the season. He has 19 Shots in the Box with an xG of 5.52 and has also created 26 Chances with an xA of 2.22. He has been by far the best asset for Tottenham this season.
Spurs play Crystal Palace (H) in Gameweek 19 who have actually been quite decent defensively. They have conceded 24 goals (12th) with an xGC of only 20.1 (3rd).
However, Spurs have clearly moved up a gear under Antonio Conte and have scored 13 goals in seven games under his tenure. The South Korean has four goals and one assist under the Italian so is clearly thriving.
Son has also been their talisman this season with a 56% Goal Involvement (3rd overall) in the games he has played and is also the best FPL asset to own for the North London club.
