<h2><strong>Best FPL Players for Gameweek 12</strong></h2>
<h3><strong>Mohamed Salah (£12.9m) - Liverpool</strong></h3>
<p><strong>Fixture: Southampton (A)</strong></p>
<p>Salah became the first player this season to reach 100 FPL points last gameweek with his goal and assist.</p>
<p>He has been absolutely clinical this season and simply looks a must buy right now if you do not own him.</p>
<p>Liverpool have one of their best fixtures of the season as they take on Southampton, who will be without first-choice goalkeeper <strong>Aaron Ramsdale (£4.4m)</strong>.</p>
<p>Arne Slot's side have been the best team in the league by a distance and sit five points clear at the top of the league. They have scored 21 goals (third-most) with an expected goals (xG) of 20.24 (third best).</p>
<p>Unsurprisingly, the Reds are the favourites to score 2.5+ goals (50%) in Gameweek 12.</p>
<p>Salah has been one of the best players in the league again and has the highest goal involvement (67%) in the league.</p>
<p>The Egyptian is nailed to start, on penalties and has both goals and assists.</p>
<p>Salah is the third favourite to score at any time (49%) and is the second highest predicted scoring player overall (7.7 points) according to <a href="https://www.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/predictions">Hub AI</a>.</p>

<h3><strong>Erling Haaland (£15.2m) - Manchester City</strong></h3>
<p><strong>Fixture: Spurs (H)</strong></p>
<p>Haaland continues to underwhelm and has now only scored two goals in his last six league outings.</p>
<p>For his price, this clearly isn't good enough. But he has registered an xG of 5.45 (first) in those six games and had a nine big chances.</p>
<p>In Gameweek 1-5 he had an xG of 5.54 and 10 big chances, so it's not like he hasn't been getting opportunities.</p>
<p>This is just a case of variance, as his stats in the two periods are near identical. He will no doubt come good again soon enough.</p>
<p>City have a good game from an attacking point of view as they welcome Spurs to the Etihad.</p>
<p>Pep Guardiola's team have scored the second most goals (22) with the highest xG (22.5) and they are also the second favourites to score 2.5+ goals (48%).</p>
<p>This seems a prime fixture for Haaland to get a big haul in as we know Spurs don't sit back - they come to play attacking football in every game.</p>
<p>The Norwegian is nailed to start, on penalties and will play plenty of minutes so he is never really a bad option in isolation.</p>
<p>He is the favourite to score at any time (61%) and the highest predicted scoring player overall (8.5 points) according to <a href="https://www.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/predictions">Hub AI</a>.</p>

<h3><strong>Cole Palmer (£10.9m) - Chelsea</strong></h3>
<p><strong>Fixture: Leicester City (A)</strong></p>
<p>Palmer has an impressive seven league goals and five assists to his name.</p>
<p>The Chelsea star did pull out of international duty but with two weeks to recover and seeing as he played the full 90 minutes last gameweek against Arsenal, I think he will be fine.</p>
<p>Enzo Maresca's side are third in the league and have really impressed. They have scored 21 goals (third most) with an xG of 18.81 (fourth best).</p>
<p>They now come up against Leicester, who have conceded the third most goals (21) and also have the third worst expected goals conceded (xGC) in the league (20.0).</p>
<p>It looks like the Foxes will be in for a long night judging by the stats.</p>
<p>Palmer is the clear talisman for his team, who is nailed to start, on penalties and has plenty of goal and assist threat.</p>
<p>He is at 41% to score at any time in Gameweek 12 and the fourth highest predicted scoring player (5.9 points) according to <a href="https://www.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/predictions">Hub AI.</a></p>

<h3><strong>Bruno Fernandes (£8.3m) - Manchester United</strong></h3>
<p><strong>Fixture: Ipswich (A)</strong></p>
<p>Fernandes has two goals and as many assists in his previous two games and United look a much improved team since Erik ten Hag's exit.</p>
<p>The Portuguese had been putting up good stats all season and it was only a matter of time before the goals and assists came.</p>
<p>United come up against Ipswich in Gameweek 12 and this will be Ruben Amorim's first game in charge.</p>
<p>He couldn't have asked for a better fixture really, as Kieran McKenna's side are one of the worst defences in the league.</p>
<p>They have conceded the second most goals (22) and have the worst xGC (24.7) in the league.</p>
<p>Bruno is one of the most reliable options in the game - he will play 90 minutes most weeks, is on penalties and set-pieces and has good goal and assist threat.</p>
<p>If United keep up their good form under their new manager, he will no doubt be involved in a lot of their goals.</p>

<h3><strong>Bukayo Saka (£10.1m) - Arsenal</strong></h3>
<p><strong>Fixture: Nottingham Forest (H)</strong></p>
<p>Saka is another one who pulled out of the England squad with a knock but I would be very surprised if he didn't start, given the long rest period.</p>
<p>He has three goals and seven assists so far and has a decent home fixture next.</p>
<p>Arsenal haven't had the best start to the season but with <strong>Martin Odegaard (£8.2m)</strong> back fit they should be much better now going forward.</p>
<p>Mikel Arteta's side welcome Forest to the Emirates Stadium, who have actually been very impressive.</p>
<p>They are fifth in the league, only separated by goal difference to third placed Chelsea.</p>
<p>Forest have also been one of the best defences in the league, conceding only 10 goals (second-least) with an xGC of 11.7 (second-best).</p>
<p>This won't be a walkover for the Gunners but they will still be strong favourites and Saka will be the one most likely to make the difference for them.</p>
<p>He has been their talisman for the last few seasons and is their best player. He can both score and assist, is nailed to start and the first choice penalty taker.</p>
<p>Saka is at a healthy 39% to score at any time and the player most likely to get attacking returns for Arsenal.</p>
