 Who are the best FPL forwards for Gameweek 16?

<h2 style="text-align: left;">The Best FPL Forwards for Gameweek 16</h2>
<h3>Callum Wilson (£7.5m) – Newcastle United</h3>
Fixture: Leicester City (a)
Callum Wilson has scored back-to-back goals for Newcastle United which now brings his total tally to six goals in 11 starts. He is clearly the most integral player in that team and these last two gameweeks have proved that. He has 22 Shots in the Box, 10 Shots on Target with an xG of 4.53 and also created 8 Chances with an xA of 1.03.
Newcastle travel to the King Power Stadium in Gameweek 16 to face Leicester City. Although this may look like a tough game on paper I feel from an attacking point of view it’s a good fixture for the Toon.
The Foxes have been one of the worst defensive sides in the league conceding 26 goals (17th), 149 Shots in the Box (19th), 76 Shots on Target (18th) and an xGC of 24.5 (17th). 
 
Newcastle have been okay going forward with 17 goals (9th) and with their first win of the season last gameweek they will be full of confidence. More importantly, they have Wilson fit and firing and as long as he is fit they have a chance of avoiding relegation.
The Englishman proved again last gameweek how important he is to this team, and he will no doubt be the best option again for them this week. He has a Goal Involvement of 50% now in the games he has played and this is no coincidence. He is the furthest forward and gets the majority of his shots off in the box.
Also, Wilson is actually ranked as the fourth-highest predicted scoring forward (5.3 points) according to our <a href="https://cms.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/predictions/">Points Prediction Tool</a>.

<h3><a href="https://cms.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/ronaldo-at-manchester-united-fpl/">Cristiano Ronaldo</a> (£12.3m) – Manchester United</h3>
Fixture: Norwich (a) 
 
Cristiano Ronaldo has six goals and two assists in only 10 starts and has registered 36 Shots in the Box (3rd), 17 Shots on Target (4th) and an xG of 6.55 (4th). He has also created 9 Chances with an xA of 2.42. 
 
Manchester United have a very plum fixture in Gameweek 16 as they take on Norwich at Carrow Road. The Canaries sit bottom of the table with 31 goals conceded (20th) with 143 Shots in the Box (17th) and an xGC of 27.8 (19th). 
 
The Red Devils, on the other hand, have scored 25 goals (5th) with an xG of 24.6 (5th). And now with new manager <a href="https://cms.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/ralf-rangnick-at-manchester-united-what-does-this-mean-for-fpl/">Ralf Rangnick at the helm</a>, they are sure to improve after their poor start to the season.
In his first game in charge against Palace there was a visible improvement. United played far higher up the pitch, pressed and bombarded the Eagles' goal with 19 goal attempts. Ronaldo also played the furthest forward on the pitch, with 4 Shots in the Box and an xG of 0.30 (1st amongst team).
The Portuguese has been United’s best player this season and I don’t see this changing under Rangnick, especially from a goal-scoring point of view.
This is a great fixture for United and I am sure we will see them score a lot more goals under their new German manager. Man United are also the fourth favourites to score 2.5+ goals (43%) and Cristiano is the second favourite to score at anytime (57%) according to our <a href="https://cms.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/predictions/">Points Prediction Tool</a>.

<h3>Jamie Vardy (£10.7m) – Leicester City</h3>
Fixture: Newcastle United (H) 
 
Jamie Vardy has nine goals and one assist this season and is the highest-scoring forward in the game. He has 32 Shots in the Box (5th), 16 Shots on Target (5th) and an xG of 5.86 (7th). He has also created 13 Chances with an xA of 1.52. 
 
Leicester City host Newcastle United in Gameweek 16 which is one of their best fixtures of the season from an attacking point of view. Although the Toon kept their first clean sheet of the season last gameweek they are still one of the worst defences in the league. They have conceded 30 goals (19th), 138 Shots in the Box (16th), 75 Shots on Target (17th) and an xGC of 28.4 (20th). 
 
As mentioned earlier, the Foxes aren’t great at the back themselves but going forward they have been totally fine. They have scored 23 goals (6th) with an xG of 21.4 (6th). After Brendan Rodgers' comments about Jamie Vardy needing a rest in this hectic period, he was given a breather against Aston Villa last gameweek so should most definitely start this one.
The forward has a Goal Involvement of 45% and has been their top scorer for the past six seasons. He is also on penalties.
I can see this game being a high scoring one with both teams' defences suspect. Vardy is no doubt one of the best FPL forwards for Gameweek 16. Our <a href="https://cms.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/predictions/">Points Prediction Tool </a>has him as the highest predicted scoring forward (6.0 points) for Gameweek 16 and also the favourite to score at anytime (58%).

Michail Antonio (£7.9m) – West Ham United</h3>
Fixture: Burnley (a) 
 
Michail Antonio finally got his first attacking returns in five games last gameweek as West Ham put up the performance of the season by beating London rivals, Chelsea. He now has a total of six goals and five assists with 34 Shots in the Box (4th) 10 Big Chances (4th) and an xG of 6.25 (6th). He has also created 29 Chances with an xA of 4.66 (4th). 
 
Even though he has faced some tough fixtures in his barren spell -  Aston Villa (a), Liverpool (H), Wolves (a) Manchester City (a) and Chelsea (H), the Hammers have still scored 12 goals in that period. With only one assist during this time, it's worrying for his owners.
However, with <a href="https://cms.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/fixture-ticker/">West Ham’s fixtures</a> taking a turn for the better, he is sure to get back to scoring ways. They face Burnley (a) in Gameweek 16 who have conceded 21 goals (14th) 157 Shots in the Box (20th) and an xGC of 23.7 (15th). 
 
David Moyes’s men have been fantastic going forward this season and sit 4th in the league. They have scored 28 goals (4th), with 132 Shots in the Box (5th) and an xG of 24.7 (5th). 
 
Also, they have scored seven goals combined against the three best defences (Liverpool, Manchester City and Chelsea) in the league. I can’t see them having any trouble against Burnley. I do feel it’s a matter of time before we start seeing Antonio back on the score sheet regularly, and he has a great fixture this week to kick start his season up again.

Romelu Lukaku (£11.5m) – Chelsea</h3>
Fixture: Leeds United (H)
Romelu Lukaku got off to a decent start this season with three goals in his first four games. His injury has kept him out for four gameweeks and he has been eased back since Gameweek 13. With him getting 45 minutes last gameweek I think he is sure to start in Gameweek 16. 
 
Chelsea play Leeds United (H) this week which looks like a great fixture for Lukaku to get his first start in since Gameweek 8. The Whites have conceded 22 goals (15th) with an xGC of 22.3 (13th). 
 
The Blues have been one of the best attacking sides this season scoring 35 goals (2nd) with 153 Shots in the Box (3rd), 85 Shots on Target (3rd) and an xG of 29.3 (3rd). They have had no trouble scoring in the absence of Lukaku and I feel they will only improve with their best striker back fit. He is very likely to be in amongst the goals again.
In his seven starts this season, the Belgian has 17 Shots in the Box with an xG of 2.53 and has created 12 Chances with an xA of 2.19. He is clearly a player who possesses both goal and assist threat. He is a proven Premier League player with 116 goals and 63 assists. 
 
It will come as no surprise that Chelsea are the third favourites to score 2.5+ goals (45%) in Gameweek 16. With Lukaku playing as their centre forward he is the most likely to get their goals.
