<h2 style="text-align: left;">The Best FPL Midfielders for Double Gameweek 38</h2>
<h3><strong><br />
Kevin De Bruyne (£12.0m) – Manchester City</strong></h3>
<p><strong>Fixture: Aston Villa (H)</strong></p>
<p><strong>Kevin De Bruyne</strong> has a very impressive 15 goals and seven assists this season. He has registered an xG of 7.04 and has created 97 Chances with an xA of 10.24. He has only blanked once in his last seven league starts.</p>
<p>Manchester City have a good <a href="https://cms.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/fixture-ticker/">fixture</a> to end the season with as they come up against Aston Villa at the Etihad. The Villains have conceded 50 goals (12<sup>th</sup>) with an xGC of 49.1 (7<sup>th</sup>) so have a fairly decent defence.</p>
<p>However, with City being at home, their goal-scoring record and the fact that this is a must-win game for them tells me that this could be another big win for Citizens. They have scored 96 goals (1<sup>st</sup>) with an xG of 88.44 (1<sup>st</sup>). They have also scored 21 goals in the last five games.</p>

<p>Unsurprisingly the bookmakers have them at 43% (3<sup>rd</sup>) to score 2.5+ goals. With only the league title to play for now for the Blues, I really don’t see them slipping up here and with it being the last game of the season they will want to score as many as possible.</p>
<p>De Bruyne has been unbelievable in the second half of the season. Since Gameweek 17 he has scored an incredible 13 goals (2<sup>nd</sup>) and only <strong>Son Heung-Min </strong> has more points than him in this time. The Belgian will be nailed to start this game and there is probably a chance he is back on penalties too, after Riyad Mahrez missed his last one.</p>
<p>He is the second highest predicted scoring midfielder (6.2 points) for Gameweek 38 according to our <strong><a href="https://www.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/predictions">Points Prediction Tool.</a></strong></p>

<h3><strong>Son Heung-min (£11.1m) – Spurs</strong></h3>
<p><strong>Fixture: Norwich (a)</strong></p>
<p><strong>Son Heing-min</strong> has 21 goals and 10 assists with an xG of 15.45 (3<sup>rd</sup>) and an xA (4<sup>th</sup>) and now only sits one goal behind<strong> Mohamed Salah</strong> for the golden boot. He couldn’t have asked for a better game to end the season with and will have a very good chance of catching him.</p>
<p>Tottenham Hotspur travel to Carrow Road in Gameweek 38 to play Norwich. The Canaries have been the worst team in the league by quite a distance. They have conceded 79 goals (20<sup>th</sup>) with an xGC of 74.3 (20<sup>th</sup>).</p>
<p>Spurs have scored 64 goals (4<sup>th</sup>) with an xG of 65.46 (4<sup>th</sup>) and will be more determined than ever to win this as it would guarantee them 4<sup>th</sup> position. They will see it as a must-win game and, with Arsenal losing to Newcastle, it is now in their hands.</p>
<p>There is a lot of incentive here for both Spurs and Son. The South Korean will want to help his team to Champions League qualification but at the same time win the golden boot. He has shown to be one of the most reliable assets in the game this year and will very likely be the most captained in Gameweek 38 also.</p>
<p>I can't see how Tottenham don’t win this game easily and with Son’s 51% Goal Involvement so far, he is extremely likely to be involved.</p>
<p>Also, I would add that if Spurs are winning comfortably and they get a penalty, I think there may be a chance that <strong>Harry</strong> <strong>Kane</strong> lets his teammate take it if it means snatching the golden boot.</p>

<h3><strong>Bukayo Saka (£6.7m) – Arsenal</strong></h3>
<p><strong>Fixture: Everton (H)</strong></p>
<p>Despite no attacking returns in the last three games, <strong>Bukayo</strong> <strong>Saka</strong> has had a very good season. He has 11 goals and eight assists with an xG of 9.94 (8th) and an xA 8.3 (5<sup>th</sup>). At a starting price of only £6.5m he is the fifth highest scoring midfielder in the game and has been great value.</p>
<p>Arsenal also have a kind fixture in Gameweek 38 as they host Everton. Much like Spurs, they will also see this as a must-win game. If they want to have any chance of getting 4<sup>th</sup> they will need to win this.</p>
<p>The Toffees have conceded 59 goals (16<sup>th</sup>) with an xGC of 58.3 (13<sup>th</sup>) and given Arsenal’s attack they will be strong favourites to not only win this but also to score a few at least.</p>
<p>The Gunners have been good in the final third over the season. They have scored 56 goals (6<sup>th</sup>) with an xG of 58.17 (6<sup>th</sup>). Given the situation Mikel Arteta’s team find themselves in they will have no choice but to go all out for the win here.</p>
<p>The bookmakers also have them as the fourth favourites to score 2.5+ goals (37%).</p>
<p>Saka has the highest xG and xA amongst his team and is in the top 10 for midfielders overall also. He is a great option this week who has goal and assist threat and the England midfielder is also on penalties now.</p>

<h3><strong>James Maddison (£6.9m) – Leicester City</strong></h3>
<p><strong>Fixture: Southampton (H)</strong></p>
<p><strong>James Maddison</strong> is enjoying his best season FPL-wise. He now has 10 goals and 10 assists in only 26 starts. He has registered an xG of 7.49 and created 53 Chances with an xA of 6.48.</p>
<p>Leicester City play Southampton at home in Gameweek 38. The Saints have conceded 61 goals (17<sup>th</sup>) with an xGC of 62.2 (16<sup>th</sup>). They have been amongst the worst defensive teams in the league and this looks a great fixture for Brendan Rodgers' men.</p>
<p>The Foxes have been good in the final third. They have scored 57 goals (6<sup>th</sup>) with an xG of 50.75 (9<sup>th</sup>) and are very likely to score a few more here also.</p>
<p>With them now out of Europe there won't be any rotation and Leicester will very likely start with their full team.</p>
<p>Maddison has been one of their best players this season and certainly their best FPL asset. He can score, assist, and is on a lot of set-pieces too which always gives him a chance of returns against any opposition.</p>
<p>Also with <strong>Jamie</strong> <strong>Vardy</strong> back fit Leicester are likely to score more goals which of course is good for Maddison’s attacking return prospects.</p>

<h3><strong>Mason Mount (£7.6m) – Chelsea</strong></h3>
<p><strong>Fixture: Watford (H)</strong></p>
<p><strong>Mason Mount</strong> is also having his best season. In 26 starts the midfielder has 11 goals and 11 assists with an xG of 8.22 and he has created 65 Chances with an xA of 7.2.</p>
<p>Chelsea have one of the best fixture in Gameweek 38 as they welcome Watford to Stamford Bridge. This is one of the games which is likely to see the most goals in my opinion.</p>
<p>Roy Hodgson’s side have conceded 75 goals (18<sup>th</sup>) with an xGC of 64.1 (17<sup>th</sup>) and have nothing to play for but pride with relegation already confirmed.</p>
<p>The Blues have also secured third spot so there won't be any pressure in terms of league position. They have scored 73 goals (3<sup>rd</sup>) with an xG of 67.12 (3<sup>rd</sup>) this season and will likely want to finish off the season strong and give their home fans something to cheer about.</p>
<p>The bookmakers agree as they have Chelsea as the favourites to score 2.5+ goals (50%) for Gameweek 38.</p>
<p>It’s clear Mount has come into his own this season and seems to be getting better in terms of scoring and assisting. He has beaten both his previous best tallies in attacking returns with a game to go. He is also Chelsea’s top scorer this season.</p>
<p>The England international averages <a href="https://twitter.com/BigManBakar/status/1526480139692806145?s=20&amp;t=buuD86UQPANi_34yhrIwlQ">13.6 points per game</a> vs the bottom three teams (seven goals and four assists).</p>
