            <p>What do the early season stats tell us about the best Fantasy Premier League (FPL) picks?</p>
<p>With the Premier League paused for the first international break, it's a good time to delve into the data. See our <a href="https://www.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/fpl-gameweek-1-3-stats-analysis">team stats analysis</a> for more of a club-specific focus.</p>
<p>Fantasy Football Hub members can study the stats themselves on our <a href="https://www.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/opta">Opta page</a> - but here's what we've noted so far after three gameweeks of action.</p>

<h2>Semenyo a suprise shots leader - but Haaland on target most</h2>
<p>With seven goals already this season, it may not be too surprising to see <strong>Erling Haaland </strong>has had the most shots on target (10).</p>
<p>But when we look at total shots, the top performers are more unexpected.</p>
<p>Bournemouth's <strong>Antoine Semenyo </strong>leads on 17, ahead of <strong>Eberechi Eze </strong>(15) and Haaland (14).</p>
<p>Semenyo played up front in Gameweek 1 following the departure of <strong>Dominic Solanke</strong>, scoring and taking five shots.</p>
<p>The arrival of <strong>Evanilson </strong>has mostly pushed him back into a more familiar role on the wing but his shot volume has been unaffected, with seven and five in Gameweek 2 and 3.</p>
<p>Coming in at £5.6m, the Cherries midfielder is one to consider in the coming weeks, particularly for those on Wildcard.</p>
<p>The fixtures look tough over the next six gameweeks however, with Bournemouth ranking second bottom on our <a href="https://www.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/fixture-ticker">fixture ticker</a>.</p>
<p>Semenyo's teammate <strong>Marcus Tavernier </strong>ranks joint-fourth for total shots (12), one more than Fulham's <strong>Rodrigo Muniz</strong>.</p>
<p>Muniz has only had four shots on target though - the same number as Semenyo - but the Bournemouth man has two goals to his name, while Muniz has none.</p>

<h2>Big chances and goal threat: Haaland dominates</h2>
<p>Haaland and <strong>Mohamed Salah </strong>are the leading FPL points scorers so far (41) - and the pair have had the most big chances.</p>
<p>The Manchester City striker has seven, while the Egyptian has five. Six players, including <strong>Ollie Watkins </strong>and <strong>Kai Havertz</strong>, have four.</p>
<p>Haaland's seven goals puts him four ahead of Salah and three others - and he also ranks top for expected goals (xG).</p>
<p>His xG of 3.62 indicates an over-performance but it is still just over 1.5 ahead of nearest rival <strong>Nicolas Jackson</strong>.</p>
<p>The Chelsea striker has scored two from an xG of 2.11 but with four big chances, it appears he still needs to improve on converting his chances.</p>
<p>Jackson scored 14 goals last season (18.14 xG) but had the third most big chances in the league (36).</p>
<p>Tavernier pops up again in the top 10 for big chances (three) and sits third for xG (2.08), with one goal to his name.</p>
<p><strong>Yoane Wissa </strong>will be a popular forward option from Gameweek 6, when Brentford's fixtures are more favourable. He has two goals from an xG of 2.0, a figure that ranks fourth overall.</p>
<p>The Brentford frontman has averaged 82 minutes per appearance so far and should be in line for plenty of gametime now Ivan Toney has left the club.</p>

<h2>Cunha one to watch when Wolves' fixtures get better</h2>
<p>Wolves have had one of the most difficult starts to the season and their fixtures still rank bottom over the next six games.</p>
