<h2 style="text-align: left;">The Best FPL Forwards for Double Gameweek 34?</h2>
<h3><strong><br />
Chris Wood (£6.7m) – Newcastle United </strong></h3>
<p><strong>Fixture: Norwich (a)</strong></p>
<p><strong>Chris Wood</strong> hasn’t had the best season by his own standards. He has five goals with an xG of 7.24 and has created 20 Chances with an xA of 2.72. These are from playing for both Burnley and Newcastle United. He does however have a plum fixture this week.</p>
<p>Newcastle come up against Norwich in Double Gameweek 34, who are actually the worst side in the league when it comes to both attack and defence. They have now conceded 66 goals (19<sup>th</sup>) with an xGC of 64.0 (20<sup>th</sup>). They will no doubt be relegated this season.</p>
<p>The Toon have scored 36 goals (15<sup>th</sup>) with an xG of 36.0 (17<sup>th</sup>) over the season, but we know they have been a much better side since January and should be too strong for the Canaries.</p>
<p>Newcastle are actually in the top 10 when it comes to attack in the last 10 Gameweeks. They have scored 15 goals (5<sup>th</sup>) with an xG of 15.2 (9<sup>th</sup>).</p>
<p>Despite his underperformance this season, Wood is still the best Newcastle attacking option in my opinion. He is nailed to start, plays the furthest forward, and is also the first choice penalty taker.</p>
<p>He is a proven goalscorer in the Premier League, with 51 goals over five seasons.</p>
<p>According to our <a href="https://fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/predictions/"><strong>Points Prediction Tool</strong></a> he is the fourth highest predicted scoring forward (5.8 points) for Double Gameweek 34.</p>

<h3><strong>Teemu Pukki (£5.9m) – Norwich</strong></h3>
<p><strong>Fixture: Newcastle United (H)</strong></p>
<p><strong>Teemu Pukki</strong> is now the fifth highest scoring forward in the game with 10 goals and three assists.</p>
<p>This is quite an achievement considering his team have only scored 22 goals, and sit bottom of the league. The Finnish forward has an xG of 9.35 (6<sup>th</sup> among forwards) and has created 30 Chances with an xA of 5.38 (5<sup>th</sup> amongst forwards).</p>
<p>Despite Norwich scoring the least goals in the league, this hasn’t hasn't stopped Pukki from being a good FPL option. The Canaries play Newcastle United (H) in Double Gameweek 34, and this is a match they will think they can win.</p>
<p>Eddie Howe’s men have conceded 55 goals (17<sup>th</sup>) with an xGC of 53.4 (16<sup>th</sup>) over the season. Still though, Norwich are not going to be favourites for this tie, but a game against Newcastle is one of the kindest fixtures of the season for them. Plus, with them all but relegated and nothing to lose, I guess they can play with a bit of freedom and the pressure won't be so intense.</p>
<p>Pukki now has the highest Goal Involvement in the league amongst all players (59%). He is also the penalty taker, and nailed to start.</p>
<p>Norwich also have a <a href="https://www.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/fixture-ticker">double Gameweek in 36</a> and a decent run of <a href="https://www.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/fixture-ticker">fixtures</a> up until the end of the season.</p>

<h3><strong>Timo Werner (£8.6m) – Chelsea</strong></h3>
<p><strong>Fixtures: West Ham United (H) and Manchester United (a)</strong></p>
<p><strong>Timo Werner</strong> has not been a first-team player this season. He has only started 10 games, notching three goals and two assists, with an xG of 4.66, and and an xA of 1.39.</p>
<p>However, he has started the last four league games, and picked up two goals and an assist in his last match against Southampton. With Chelsea now out of Europe, I think we may see a lot of Werner from now until the end of the season.</p>
<p>Chelsea also have a double in Gameweek 34. They play West Ham United and Manchester United. The Hammers have conceded 43 goals (8<sup>th</sup>) with an xGC of 44.8 (9<sup>th</sup>) and United have conceded 44 (9<sup>th</sup>) with an xGC of 48.4 (11<sup>th</sup>).</p>
<p>Therefore, the Blues are going to be strong favourites in both these games. Both teams have a mid-table defence and Thomas Tuchel's side have been very good in the final third. They have scored 63 goals (3<sup>rd</sup>) with an xG of 57.9 (3<sup>rd</sup>).</p>
<p>Werner hasn’t hit the heights most thought he would at Chelsea, but it is clear he is still a very talented forward and can be an explosive FPL option. He did score 87 goals and 31 assists for Leipzig and Stuttgart over six seasons, so we know there is a very good goal scorer in there.</p>

<h3><strong>Harry Kane (£12.6m) – Tottenham Hotspur</strong></h3>
<p><strong>Fixture: Brentford (a)</strong></p>
<p><strong>Harry Kane</strong> registered his first blank in seven gameweeks last week. He remains on 12 goals and 10 assists for the season, and despite a poor performance from Spurs, I wouldn’t let it put you off the England forward. His underlying numbers have been immense with an xG of 15.84 and an xA of 10.69 – which puts him first among all forwards, and second overall.</p>
<p>Tottenham Hotspur have a favourable fixture in Double Gameweek 34 as they take on Brentford. The Bees have had a decent season and have secured Premier League status for another year, but they do concede goals. They have let in 49 (14<sup>th</sup>) with an xGC of 49.2 (12<sup>th</sup>).</p>
<p>Spurs on the other hand are only behind Liverpool and Manchester City for attacking stats. They have scored 47 goals (3<sup>rd</sup>) with an xG of 44.5 (3<sup>rd</sup>)  since the arrival of Antonio Conte in Gameweek 11.</p>
<p>Despite their defeat at home last gameweek to Brighton I would not be worried if you own Kane. He will carry on scoring well over the season, as he has the best individual stats, and his team ranks top three going forward.</p>
<p>Harry Kane is still one of the best options in the game and he is nailed starter, on penalties and pivotal to his team going forward. His assist rate has also clearly increased over the last two seasons.</p>
<p>He is the third favourite to score at anytime (56%) in Double Gameweek 34 according to the bookmakers.</p>

<h3><strong>Cristiano Ronaldo (£12.2m) – Manchester United</strong></h3>
<p><strong>Fixtures: Arsenal (a) and Chelsea (H)</strong></p>
<p>At the time of writing <strong>Cristiano</strong> <strong>Ronaldo</strong> has a very impressive 15 goals and three assists in only 23 starts. At the age of 37 he has simply been amazing, and continues to register elite-level stats and output. He has an xG of 14.52 (2<sup>nd</sup> amongst forwards) and an xA of 5.62 (4<sup>th</sup> amongst forwards).</p>
<p>Manchester United are one of two teams who double in Gameweek 34. They come up against two London clubs in Arsenal and Chelsea. Both of these teams are in the top five when it comes to defence, so these aren’t exactly going to be easy games.</p>
<p>However, United are good going forward and more than capable of scoring against both. They have now scored 52 goals (5<sup>th</sup>) with an xG of 53.9 (5<sup>th</sup>). Looking at Ronaldo’s stats, it's clear he is one of the best options in the game when he plays. Despite playing fewer games than most, he still ranks amongst the best in both underlying numbers and output.</p>
<p>It is difficult to predict the outcomes in big games like these but I think it’s more likely than not that the Red Devils score in both these fixtures, and Cristiano is by far their biggest goal threat. Plus he is also on penalties for them.</p>
