<h2 style="text-align: left;">The Best FPL Midfielders for Double Gameweek 34</h2>

Kevin De Bruyne (£11.8m) – Manchester City</strong></h3>
<p><strong>Fixture: Watford (H)</strong></p>
<p><strong>Kevin De Bruyne</strong> is having another great season. Since his return from injury (Gameweek 15) he has nine goals and three assists. Over the season he has scored 11 goals with an xG of 5.11, whilst also creating 72 Chances with an xA of 7.35 (5<sup>th</sup> among midfielders).</p>
<p>Manchester City have one of the best fixtures of the season as they welcome Watford to the Etihad. The Hornets have conceded 62 goals (18<sup>th</sup>) with an xGC of 53.2 (15<sup>th</sup>).</p>
<p>The Citizens on the other hand have scored 72 goals (2<sup>nd</sup>) with an xG of 71.9 (2<sup>nd</sup>). Needless to say, this could be a long night for Roy Hodgson’s side, and the scoreline here could be huge. City have scored 4+ plus goals in eight league games (1<sup>st</sup>) this season.</p>
<p>The Belgian maestro is one of the best FPL assets in the game when he is fit, and he looks to be the pick of the City midfielders right now. With the league title still firmly in the balance, I can't see him getting many rests from now until the end of the season. He looks a great option for the <a href="https://www.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/fixture-ticker">run-in.</a></p>
<p>De Bruyne also has the highest Goal Involvement (28%) from all Man City players.</p>

<h3><strong>Mohamed Salah (£13.2m) – Liverpool</strong></h3>
<p><strong>Fixture: Everton (H)</strong></p>
<p><strong>Mohamed Salah</strong> has 20 goals and 12 assists with an xG of 21.69 (1<sup>st</sup>) and an xA of 11.45 (1<sup>st</sup>). The Egyptian has been fairly quiet of late for his own high standards, but make no mistake, he is still the best asset in the game and his underlying numbers are still there.</p>
<p>Liverpool also have a very kind fixture in Double Gameweek 34. They take on Everton at home in a Merseyside derby. The Toffees have been terrible this season and are in a relegation battle. They have conceded 52 goals (16<sup>th</sup>) with an xGC of 49.8 (13<sup>th</sup>).</p>
<p>The Reds have scored an impressive 79 goals (1<sup>st</sup>) with an xG of 79.1 (1<sup>st</sup>). They have been the best attacking side in the league by quite some distance. Man City, who are second for xG, have 71.9, to put it into context.</p>
<p>Liverpool are also second favourites to score 2.5+ goals (64%) according to the bookmakers. Again this could end up being an embarrassing scoreline for Everton, and you would still bet that Salah will be involved in one way or another.</p>
<p>Mohamed Salah’s stats are the best in the league, and he is the Liverpool’s and the league's best scorer and FPL asset. He can score, assist and is on penalties also. Despite a double for Chelsea and Manchester United this week he will still be one of the top captaincy contenders.</p>
<p>Unsurprisingly he is the favourite to score at anytime (64%) according to the bookmakers.</p>

<h3><strong>Mason Mount (£7.6m) – Chelsea</strong></h3>
<p><strong>Fixtures: West Ham United (H) and Manchester United (a)</strong></p>
<p><strong>Mason Mount</strong> is having his best season for Chelsea. In 21 starts, he has amassed 10 goals and nine assists, with an xG of 7.59 and he has also created 50 Chances with an xA of 6.29.</p>
<p>The England international is on corners and free-kicks too, and has shown a lot more goal threat this season to add to his assists.</p>
<p>Chelsea play West Ham United (H) and Manchester United (a) in Double Gameweek 34. This is a good double for the Blues from an attacking sense. The Hammers have conceded 43 goals (8<sup>th</sup>) with an xGC of 44.8 (9<sup>th</sup>) and United have conceded 44 (9<sup>th</sup>) with an xGC of 48.4 (11<sup>th</sup>).</p>
<p>The London club are also the third favourites to score 2.5+ goals in both fixtures (39% and 24%) according to the bookmakers. Over the season they are the third-best attack in the league and have scored 63 goals (3<sup>rd</sup>) with an xG of 57.9 (3<sup>rd</sup>). Both West Ham and Man United are likely to concede here.</p>
<p>And with Mason on so many set-pieces, he can pick up attacking returns in any game really.</p>
<p>It’s clear he has upped his game in terms of scoring, as we can see this in his underlying numbers, and Mount is Chelsea’s top goalscorer.</p>

<p><strong>Kai Havertz </strong>is another one who is having a good season. He has the second-best stats in the Chelsea side after teammate Mason Mount. The German forward has seven goals and three assists in only 18 starts. He has an xG of 7.63, and has created 14 Chances with an xA of 2.80.</p>
<p>In the first half of the season, his minutes weren't as assured as they are now. At the time of writing, he has started the last six league games, picking up five goals and an assist, so he looks well and truly the first choice at the moment. Also, with Romelu Lukaku out of favour, the German's chances should be boosted even further.</p>
<p>I really like Havertz from now until the season end. He is putting up some really impressive stats and the fact he is playing OOP (out of position) is perfect for FPL. He will lead the line for Chelsea over both games in the double for sure, and he is their biggest goal threat right now.</p>
<p>Plus Thomas Tuchel's side not only have a double this week, but also another one in <a href="https://www.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/fixture-ticker">Gameweek 36.</a></p>
<p>The 22-year-old looks to be nearing the form he showed at his former club Bayer Leverkusen, where he scored 19 goals and created nine assists in his last two seasons for them.</p>
<p>He also ranks well on our <a href="https://www.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/predictions"><strong>Points Prediction Tool</strong> </a>which has him as the fourth highest predicted scoring player overall (8.4 points) for Double Gameweek 24.</p>

<p><strong>Bruno Fernandes</strong> has nine goals and seven assists at the time of writing. He has an xG of 8.00 and has created 96 Chances (1<sup>st</sup>) with an xA of 9.98 (3<sup>rd</sup>). His underlying numbers are good, although he hasn’t always been worth his price tag this season.</p>
<p>Manchester United come up against Arsenal (H) and Chelsea (a) in Double Gameweek 34. Both the London teams have a good defence, so this looks like a tricky set of fixtures for United. Arsenal have only conceded 37 goals (5<sup>th</sup>) with an xGC of 39.8 (5<sup>th</sup>) and Chelsea only 23 goals (3<sup>rd</sup>) with an xGC of 31.8 (3<sup>rd</sup>).</p>
<p>However, despite their poor season United are a good attacking side with some really talented players such as Bruno, Jadon Sancho and Ronaldo to name a few.</p>
<p>They have now scored 52 goals (5<sup>th</sup>) with an xG of 53.9 (5<sup>th</sup>) so I do think they will score in both these games. Fernandes has been a great option at times this season, and will be the one pulling the strings in the midfield as usual.</p>
<p>The Portuguese can score, assist, and is on a lot of set-pieces too so has many avenues to points.</p>
