<h2>Who has the best fixtures from FPL Gameweek 29?</h2>
<p>Before building a Wildcard squad, it's crucial to consider the upcoming fixtures - and there's a lot to take in.</p>
<p>The main issue all FPL managers currently face is uncertainty.</p>
<p>We do not know the full fixture schedule yet, including who will double in Gameweek 33 and blank in Gameweek 34.</p>
<p>The order of teams on the Hub's <a href="https://www.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/fixture-ticker">fixture ticker</a> will therefore change but as it stands, Bournemouth, Manchester City, Arsenal and Wolves are among the teams with the best upcoming fixture runs.</p>
<p>Blank Gameweek 29 hinders some sides, with Liverpool, Aston Villa, Newcastle and Crystal Palace without a fixture this weekend.</p>
<p>But Newcastle's Gameweek 32 double - where they play twice at home - means they still make it to fifth on the ticker.</p>
<p>Palace also double that week but are lower down the rankings, with both matches on the road.</p>

<h3>Who could double in Gameweek 33 and blank in 34?</h3>
<p>Those on Wildcard this week will need to employ a bit of guesswork as to who will double and blank in a few gameweeks' time.</p>
<p>Blank Gameweek 34 clashes with the FA Cup semi-finals.</p>
<p>Premier League teams who reach this stage of the competition are unlikely to play in the league that week, with their fixtures expected to move to Gameweek 33.</p>
<p>Manchester City, Villa, Brighton, Nottingham Forest, Fulham, Crystal Palace and Bournemouth are still in the cup.</p>
<p>Of all the Gameweek 34 fixtures, City v Villa is likeliest to be blank, with Villa facing the only non-Premier League team left in the draw in Preston.</p>
<p>But other games, like Fulham v Palace and Brighton v Forest, are harder to call and different outcomes could give the double and blank a very different look.</p>

<h2>Should you use your Wildcard in Blank Gameweek 29?</h2>
<p>Holding on to chips amid the fixtures uncertainty would be the ideal scenario.</p>
<p>This is why many FPL managers are waiting until Gameweek 30 or 31 to Wildcard, with more expected to be confirmed by then.</p>
<p>But others have mounting issues, aside from players blanking in Gameweek 29.</p>

<h3>Wildcarding: Pros and cons</h3>
<p>Wildcarders could bring in <strong>Erling Haaland </strong>for City's back-to-back home games and potential double, saving the hits that some non-chip users will need to buy him.</p>
<p>We already have four confirmed fixtures in Blank Gameweek 34, with Newcastle, Chelsea and Liverpool among those in action.</p>
<p>This is a solid base for helping to ensure teams are not short of players in this blank gameweek.</p>
<p>On the downside, there are contrasting challenges for wildcarders to juggle.</p>
<p>For example, Wildcard teams should avoid having too many Gameweek 29 blankers but will also look to maximise Palace and Newcastle coverage in Double Gameweek 32.</p>
<p>Having plenty of doublers in Gameweek 33 means gaps will be left in Blank Gameweek 34 - but having a Free Hit in hand would solve this.</p>
<p>And those planning to Bench Boost in Gameweek 32 or 33 have a long wait to keep their squad in good shape.</p>
<p>There is an international break between Gameweek 29 and 30, adding to the opportunities for injuries to arise.</p>
<p>Wildcarders may find a Gameweek 30 Bench Boost suits their squads, which could lessen the need to fully max out on doublers in Gameweek 33.</p>
<p>Free transfers will be highly valuable in this period and having a few in hand already may make the decision to Wildcard easier, although these managers may find Blank Gameweek 29 more manageable without using a chip.</p>
<p>Taking a hit or two - or having nine or 10 players this week - could still be preferable to free hitting or using the Wildcard.</p>

<p>Haaland tops the Hub AI's <a href="https://www.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/predictions">predicted points</a> table for the next five gameweeks, not including adjustments for Gameweek 33 doubles.</p>
<p><strong>Mohamed Salah's </strong>blank this weekend pushes him into third place, an unusual position this season for FPL's record-breaking points scorer.</p>
<p>Liverpool are not expected to have another double gameweek this season, opening the door for brave managers to sell him in the coming weeks.</p>
<p><strong>Alexander Isak </strong>is off the radar for Gameweek 29 due to Newcastle's blank but it won't be long before he's deemed a must-have, with the <a href="https://www.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/what-is-the-fantasy-premier-league-triple-captain-and-when-to-use-it">Triple Captain</a> chip an option on him in Double Gameweek 32.</p>
