<h2>Best FPL Wildcard Team for Gameweek 32 &#8211; Goalkeepers</h2>
<h3></h3>
<h3>Kasper Schmeichel (£4.8m)</h3>
<p>Leicester have three doubles to play until the end of the season, which brings Schmeichel to the menu. Even though Leicester&#8217;s defensive numbers this season have been poor, it is worth noting that Fofana and Evans are fit now, which makes a huge difference to their team. Schmeichel is the most nailed option from the defence, and has proper haul potential given the amount of saves he makes.</p>

<h3 class="ElementDialog__ElementHeading-gmefnd-2 llwlWO">Martin Dubravka (£4.4m)</h3>
<p>I have selected Dubravka as the second keeper, as he has a good run of fixtures from now till Gameweek 34 and is a good option to rotate with Schmeichel. He&#8217;s super cheap as well, which works in his favour.</p>

<h2>Best FPL Wildcard Team for Gameweek 32 &#8211; Defenders</h2>

<h3>Joao Cancelo (£7.0m)</h3>
<p>The defender with the highest number of shots in the league, playing for the defence which has the best xG conceded in the league. Does it get any better than that?</p>
<h3>Reece James (£6.3m)</h3>
<p>There is no doubt about James’ potential – the fact that he is only behind Alexander-Arnold among defenders when it comes to xGi per 90 this season should tell you about his explosiveness. He has already registered three FPL scores of 18 points or more this season, and has every chance of adding to that tally with some enticing fixtures coming up.</p>
<p>Initially, I had this game against Southampton written down as a possible hotspot for rotation, but Chelsea&#8217;s loss to Madrid and Tuchel&#8217;s post match interview makes me think otherwise. Chelsea have now lost back to back games and need a win to gain some confidence going into the crucial decider against Madrid. Here&#8217;s what Tuchel had to say:</p>
<blockquote><p><em>&#8220;I worry more about Southampton than I worry about Real Madrid in the next week. There is my focus. Today, is this alive? No. With this performance. First of all, we need to play Southampton and if we don’t get our heads straight and mentality right we will not win in Southampton.&#8221;</em></p></blockquote>
<p>Chelsea have a slight chance of having a double Gameweek in 34 as well, should they lose in the Champions League and progress in the FA Cup, which makes James a good long term buy.</p>

<p>This is how his Robertson&#8217;s numbers read from Gameweek 13:</p>

<p><em>Big chances created/Penalty area touches: 1st</em></p>
<p>With the best baseline BPS among all Liverpool defenders, Robertson is comfortably the most likely to pick up bonus points as well.</p>
<p>He’s on set pieces too, which seriously boosts him in the chance creation charts. This gives him lots of avenues to points, and serious haul potential. No wonder he is top among defenders for FPL points this calendar year.</p>
<h3></h3>
<h3>Trent Alexander Arnold (£8.4m)</h3>
<p>I see no reason not to pick Alexander Arnold now that he is back from injury. He is playing for one of the best defences in the league, and is top among defenders for expected assists (xA) and big chances created this season.</p>

<h3>Matt Doherty (£4.9m)</h3>
<p><em>xGi per 90 (Since Conte took over):</em></p>
<p><em>Reguilon 0.51</em></p>
<p><em>Trent 0.47</em></p>
<p><em>Doherty 0.40</em></p>
<p><em>Chilwell 0.36</em></p>
<p><em>James 0.33</em></p>

<p>Conte&#8217;s wingbacks are cheat codes. Spurs don&#8217;t double anytime soon, but their fixtures are favourable so the likes of Doherty should do well regardless!</p>

<h2>Best FPL Wildcard Team for Gameweek 32 &#8211; Midfielders</h2>

<h3 data-local-attribute="d3bn" data-attrid="title" data-ved="2ahUKEwiw25uX7abzAhUaCGMBHVCiDHIQ3B0oAXoECFwQCw">Bruno Fernandes (£11.6m)</h3>
<p>Most FPL managers who are looking at Bruno as a way of making up ground over their rivals are looking to sell Salah to fund Bruno. Without a wildcard, that essentially requires two transfers to buy Bruno and then to sell him later to afford Salah back.</p>
<p>Therefore, the Bruno Fernandes transfer should appeal more to those who are either on a Wildcard this week, or have one left for later in the season.</p>
<p>The logic behind buying Bruno is that he has a favourable fixture this week, followed by a double in Gameweek 33, and then possibly a double in Gameweek 34 as well if Chelsea lose in the Champions League and progress in the FA Cup.</p>
<p>Bruno has a great record against Everton historically, against whom he has six attacking returns in his previous four starts. No wonder the bookmakers have given him a 35% chance of notching this week. You can argue that he is possibly the best captaincy option in Gameweek 33 as well, when Man United will welcome Norwich at home.</p>
<p>His underlying numbers have also improved significantly since United have switched to a 4-2-3-1. He has a xGi of 0.8 per game in his new role as compared to a xGi of 0.5 per game earlier in the season. It is no coincidence that the change in formation has coincided with an exponential increase in FPL points per game for Bruno from 4.3 to 6.2 as well.</p>
<p>In this draft, I have given myself enough money to be able to move Bruno to Salah if need be in Gameweek 34.</p>
<h3></h3>
<h3 data-local-attribute="d3bn" data-attrid="title" data-ved="2ahUKEwiw25uX7abzAhUaCGMBHVCiDHIQ3B0oAXoECFwQCw">Bukayo Saka (£6.8m)</h3>
<p>Saka has the best xGi among all Arsenal players this season and remains the standout Arsenal attacker to own. Arsenal have a double in both Gameweek 33 and 36, which makes an attacker appealing to own.</p>
<h3></h3>
<h3>Dejan Kulusevski (£6.3m)</h3>
<p>Kulusevski is offering terrific value at the moment. He is averaging a return per game over his previous eight starts. You can&#8217;t ask for more than that at this price!</p>

<p>A Leicester midfielder is a great shout for the run-in considering the fact that Leicester have three double gameweeks left to go until the end of the season. Their fixture schedule is relatively easy too &#8211; but for FPL managers, the sooner Leicester go out of Europe the better, as games in the Europa Conference League could lead to rotation.</p>
<p>Maddison has looked really sharp since his return from injury and has been performing well for a while now. Since Gameweek 13, he has 14 FPL returns, and has a very healthy expected goal involvement (xGi) of 0.7 per 90. He&#8217;s on free kicks and corners as well which gives him lots of avenues to points.</p>
<h3></h3>
<h3>Anthony Gordon (£4.6m)</h3>
<p>Everton midfielder Gordon stands out as the budget enabler to own with two double Gameweeks to play till the end of the season. Since Lampard has taken over, he is ranked best among all Everton players for shots and xGi as well.</p>

<p>Kane has hit another level since Conte has taken over. He remains Spurs&#8217; biggest goal and assist threat, ranking top for both big chances and big chances created since the Italian took over. In fact, Kane is best in the league for non penalty xGi since Conte took over! He is the best captaincy option for Gameweek 32 as well.</p>
<h3></h3>
<h3 class="ElementDialog__ElementHeading-gmefnd-2 llwlWO">Kelechi Iheanacho (£7.0m)</h3>
<p>Iheanacho looks to have established himself as Leicester&#8217;s first choice striker in the absence of Vardy. With Vardy still some way off returning, Iheanacho could be a good option with the doubles to come. He&#8217;s a bit of a punt, but with the lack of forward alternatives available, he is the one who tempts me the most.</p>
<h3></h3>
<h3 class="ElementDialog__ElementHeading-gmefnd-2 llwlWO">Joe Gelhardt (£4.6m)</h3>
<p data-local-attribute="d3bn" data-attrid="title" data-ved="2ahUKEwiw25uX7abzAhUaCGMBHVCiDHIQ3B0oAXoECFwQCw">Gelhardt is the cheapest striker in the game at the moment who has a realistic chance of getting some minutes. He&#8217;s essentially just a filler who allows me to afford the rest of my squad.</p>
