<h2><strong>Best FPL midfielders Gameweek 4</strong></h2>
<h3><strong>Mohamed Salah (£12.7m) – Liverpool</strong></h3>
<p><strong>Fixture: Nottingham Forest (H)</strong></p>
<p>Salah is the joint highest scoring player (41 points) in the game after three gameweeks.</p>
<p>He has three goals and three assists with an expected goals (xG) of 1.7 and an expected assists (xA) of 1.0. Salah is looking unstoppable right now.</p>
<p>Liverpool have another plum home game, this time against Nottingham Forest.</p>
<p>Espirito Santo's side are actually a good defensive side, and have the third best expected goals conceded (xGC) of 2.6 so far.</p>
<p>However Liverpool will surely be too strong for them - they have scored seven goals (second) with an xG of 7.08 (second) and are looking very sharp in the final third.</p>
<p>The Reds are also the second favourites to score 2.5+ goals (58%) in Gameweek 4.</p>
<p>The Egyptian is the second highest predicted scoring player (8.3 points) according to <a href="https://www.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/predictions">Hub AI.</a></p>

<h3><strong>Eberechi Eze (£6.9m) – Crystal Palace</strong></h3>
<p><strong>Fixture: Leicester City (H)</strong></p>
<p>Eze registered his first attacking return last gameweek with a well taken goal, and it was deserved.</p>
<p>In the first three games he has registered and xG of 1.08 and an xA of 0.27 with seven shots in the box so attacking returns were inevitable.</p>
<p>He scored 11 goals and created five assists in 27 appearances last season, and I am confident he will surpass those figures this year.</p>
<p>Crystal Palace have one of their kindest fixtures of the season as they take on Leicester City at home.</p>
<p>The Eagles will be strong favourites to win and Eze will be the one most likely to get attacking returns.</p>
<p>He is on all set-pieces including penalties, and is at a very healthy 39% to score at any time.</p>
<p>Our <a href="https://www.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/predictions">Hub AI Tool</a> ranks him as the third highest predicted player (7.2 points) for Gameweek 4.</p>

<h3><strong>Bruno Fernandes (£8.4m) – Manchester United</strong></h3>
<p><strong>Fixture: Southampton (a)</strong></p>
<p>Fernandes returned 10 goals and nine assists last season, with an xG of 9.73 and an xA of 10.23, recording another strong campaign.</p>
<p>So far he has registered no attacking returns but he has been really unlucky not to. The Portuguese has an expected goals involvement (xGI) of 2.1 with 1.3 xG and 0.8 xA so goals and assists seem likely in the near future.</p>
<p>He is nailed to start, on penalties, and can score and assist, so is one of the most reliable players in the game.</p>
<p>United have been poor thus far and although it's only been three gameweeks, nothing seems to have changed from last season.</p>
<p>However they do have a very kind fixture this week as they take on Southampton, who are so far look like the poorest of the promoted sides.</p>
<p>United will be heavy favourites for this one, and it's very likely Fernandes will be involved in one way or another if they score.</p>
<p>He is at 31% to score any time and is on set-pieces too.</p>

<h3><strong>Yankuba Minteh (£5.5m) – Brighton</strong></h3>
<p><strong>Fixture: Ipswich (H)</strong></p>
<p>Minteh is looking like one of the most exciting new prospects this season.</p>
<p>The Gambian already has two assists to his name, and is putting up some impressive performances and underlying numbers with an xG of 0.5 and an xA of 0.9.</p>
<p>He managed 10 goals and six assists in only 17 starts for Feyenoord last season in the Eredivisie. He looks like an explosive player who is capable of getting a big haul at any time.</p>
<p>Brighton also have one of their most favourable games of the season as they welcome Ipswich to the Amex.</p>
<p>The Seagulls have looked good under new manager Fabian Hürzeler with two wins and a draw in their first three - scoring six goals in the process.</p>
<p>They are also the third favourites to score 2.5+ goals 45% in Gameweek 4 so there could be plenty of goals in this game.</p>

<h3><strong>Kevin De Bruyne (£9.6m) – Manchester City </strong></h3>
<p><strong>Fixture: Brentford (H)</strong></p>
<p>Kevin De Bruyne has started all three of Manchester City's opening league games and played over 86 minutes in all of them.</p>
<p>He seems to be match fit now and with <strong>Phil Foden (£9.4m)</strong> only managing 45 minutes this season due to an ongoing illness, the Belgian should be good to start this one too.</p>
<p>De Bruyne has one goal and one assist already with an xG of 1.2 and an xA of 1.6 which means he has the second highest xGI (2.76) in the game so far. He has been unfortunate not to pick up more attacking returns.</p>
<p>City have a good home game against Brentford - one in which they will be strong favourites, not only to win but to score a few.</p>
<p>Pep Guardiola’s team are the favourites to score 2.5+ goals (62%) against Thomas Frank's side and De Bruyne will be their main playmaker.</p>
<p>When he is on the pitch there aren’t many better FPL assets, and right now his expected minutes look great.</p>
<p>He is predicted to score the fourth most points among midfielders (6.3 points) according to our <a href="https://www.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/predictions">Hub AI Tool.</a></p>
