Who are the best Leeds FPL players for the 2025/26 season?

<h2>Best Leeds FPL players 2025/26: Joel Piroe (£5.5m)</h2>
Dutch forward Piroe looks to be a key FPL asset for Leeds heading into Gameweek 1, having already bagged four goals in <a href="https://www.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/fpl-pre-season-results-guide/">pre-season</a>.
As their top scorer in the Championship with 19 goals, he&#8217;s also the club’s primary penalty taker &#8211; offering potential upside even in tougher early fixtures.
Piroe also picked up seven assists, and he is likely be the focal point of their attacking efforts considering the other options currently at the club.
Although Patrick Bamford is set to depart, competition has arrived in the form of new signing Lukas Nmecha, which could impact Piroe’s minutes even if Daniel Farke makes no further attacking signings.
Regardless, Piroe looks like the standout among Leeds attackers for now, and arguably the standout £5.5m forward too.
Coincidentally, a strong alternative is Fulham&#8217;s Rodrigo Muniz, who Leeds are reportedly targeting in the transfer market to compete with Piroe up top.

<h2>Best Leeds FPL players 2025/26: Gabriel Gudmundsson (£4.0m)</h2>
With Swedish left-back Gudmundsson coming in at just £4.0m, FPL managers look to have another basement price defender option on their hands.
Gudmundsson was signed this Summer for around £10m, and he is the clear choice for the left-back role heading into Gameweek 1 following the departure of Junior Firpo.
The only real competition for his spot comes from Sam Byram, who is likely to be utilised as a rotation option given the comparative quality of the starting fullbacks.

On that note, Gudmundsson&#8217;s teammate on the other flank may be worth considering, with Jayden Bogle a key attacking cog for Leeds last season &#8211; racking up six goals and five assists.
Bogle will cost an extra £0.5m however, which puts him up against tougher competition in terms of FPL alternatives, where there are very few at Gudmundsson&#8217;s value.
The Swede is certainly not as productive as Bogle in attack but should make regular forward runs, having contributed two goals and two assists for Lille last season.

<h2>Best Leeds FPL players 2025/26: Dan James (£5.5m)</h2>
When shopping below the £6 million mark, options in midfield are largely restricted to more traditional central midfielders, or attacking players from promoted sides.
The latter is the case for James, with the Wales international offering a slightly more proven prospect at his current club than someone like Simon Adingra.
James has already shown his quality for Leeds in the Premier League, and will be hopeful of bettering the nine attacking returns he managed four years ago at the age of 23.

In the Championship last year, James managed 21 attacking returns in just 30 starts, scooping Leeds&#8217; player of the season award.
His pace is likely to be a useful tool for Farke&#8217;s side in the Premier League, and he looks slightly more secure in the side than Wilfried Gnonto on the other side thanks to James&#8217; work rate and productivity in front of goal.
The Welshman should be a banker to play in the front three, and at such a low price he is a player FPL managers can justifiably rotate in and out of their starting lineup on a week-by-week basis, dependent on fixture.
