<h2>Best Spurs FPL players 2025/26: Pedro Porro (£5.5m)</h2>
The injury to James Maddison could be huge news for Porro&#8217;s FPL season, with the Spaniard taking a share of set-piece duties even when the England man is fit.
Another big piece of news is the impending departure of Son Heung-min, who was another set-piece specialist during his long Spurs tenure.
With Son and Maddison out of the picture, Porro will likely share corners and free kicks with the left foot of Dejan Kulusevski if the Swede is on the pitch, giving Spurs a favourable option on either side.

Spurs are expected to see a defensive uptick following the arrival of manager Thomas Frank and defensive midfielder Palhinha, which is another boost for Porro, an asset who at times can operate without even needing clean sheets.
Under Ange Postecoglou last season he continued to produce points despite Spurs&#8217; defensive failings, with eight attacking returns in just 28 starts.
The season prior he managed 11 returns, and under a new manager with renewed dead ball responsibilities we could see points at both ends of the pitch for Porro.

The appointment of Frank could spell a real change in style for Spurs, and their defenders are the likeliest to benefit based on what we saw last season.
A more defensively resilient manager than Postecoglou, the former Brentford boss has brought in ex-Fulham midfielder Palhinha to shore things up in the middle of the pitch.
The Brazilian was extremely impressive for the Cottagers in the Premier League, and should make Spurs a far more difficult side to play through &#8211; at least compared to last season, when only the three relegated sides produced worse defensive data.

One man who could be a much better FPL pick as a result of all this is van de Ven, and while Cristian Romero at £5.0m will be the main Spurs beneficiary, van de Ven is also set to get a boost from the <a href="https://www.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/fpl-2025-26-changes-defensive-contributions/">new defensive scoring system</a>.
With more clean sheets potentially on the table, the lightning fast defender could be a solid pick at £4.5m, in a side who will be pursuing a Champions League spot at the outset of the season.
While he didn&#8217;t score in 2024/25, the Dutchman did pick up three goals in 27 appearances the season prior, and last campaign he grabbed a couple of assists despite only starting 12 matches.

<h2>Best Spurs FPL players 2025/26: Mohammed Kudus (£6.5m)</h2>
Kudus picked up an assist on his debut for Spurs in <a href="https://www.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/fpl-pre-season-results-guide/">pre-season</a>, and he was regularly a dual threat for goals and assists during his time at West Ham.
His nine attacking returns last season didn&#8217;t quite hit the heights of his 17 in just 27 starts in 2023/24, but the quality is there for all to see &#8211; and he is now joining a superior attacking side.
It remains to be seen exactly what Kudus&#8217; best position will be at Spurs, but his versatility is likely to work in his favour.

Capable of playing centrally or on either wing, the Ghana international is expected to start the season on the right for Spurs, with Wilson Odobert on the other side battling the likes of Mathys Tel and Brennan Johnson for a starting spot.
Regardless, Frank&#8217;s big money signing looks set to make an impact from the off, and Gameweek 1 could present the ideal fixture to do so &#8211; at home to newly promoted Burnley.
Kudus looks like one of the stronger picks at his price point, and the absences of Son and Maddison only further solidify his expected minutes in what should be a top half attacking side.
