<p>With a double gameweek on the horizon, Ederson comes across as an appealing option.</p>
<p>He's the most secure starter in the Manchester City defence as well, so should be a safe, reliable pick, in a defence that is second for non-penalty xG conceded this season.</p>

<h3><strong>Alphonse Areola (£4.3m)</strong></h3>
<p>Areola's unwavering presence as West Ham's main goalkeeper in every Premier League fixture this season has cemented his place as a sought-after budget choice for FPL managers.</p>
<p>He rotates well with Ederson too - for example, the Hammers play Burnley at home in Gameweek 28 when City go to Anfield.</p>

<h3><strong>William Saliba (£5.4m) </strong>and<strong> Gabriel (£5.0m)</strong></h3>
<p>The Arsenal defence is ranked first in the league for non-penalty expected goals conceded.</p>
<p>Both Saliba and Gabriel have established themselves as first team regulars this season, and should be good for starts going forward.</p>
<p>The fixtures are in their favour, so I expect them to represent good value.</p>
<p>They do carry genuine goal threat too - no team has scored more goals from set pieces than Arsenal this season.</p>

<p>I have built the squad in a way which can cope with Alexander-Arnold's absence for a couple of Gameweeks.</p>
<p>According to <a href="https://www.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/trent-alexander-arnold-injury-latest-should-he-be-sold-in-fpl-and-who-are-the-potential-replacements/">reports</a>, the Liverpool man is likely to be out for three weeks, which could see him return anytime between Gameweek 22 and 24.</p>
<p>I like the option of holding onto him for his likely upcoming double in Gameweek 25, as well as the favourable fixture at home to Burnley in Gameweek 24.</p>
<p>It's slightly easier to carry Trent in the team than <strong>Mohamed Salah (£13.1m)</strong> because of the price difference.</p>

<h3><strong>Pervis Estupinan (£5.0m)</strong></h3>
<p>Brighton's defensive underlying data isn't the best this season, but Estupinan's return to fitness coinciding with Brighton's favourable schedule makes him one of the standout differentials among defenders in the game right now.</p>
<p>We have seen time and again that Estupinan loves a goal, which is why he is so tempting to own in FPL.</p>
<p>It's high risk, high reward however, as he has been fairly injury prone in recent times.</p>

<p>Aston Villa play Forest at home in blank Gameweek 26 and Sheffield United in Gameweek 23 when Arsenal play against Liverpool.</p>
