<h2 data-start="199" data-end="297">Best FPL Gameweek 22 Wildcard team</h2>
<h3 data-start="426" data-end="443">Goalkeepers</h3>
<p data-start="17" data-end="345"><strong>David Raya</strong> remains the ideal set-and-forget option. Arsenal have conceded the fewest goals in the league and continue to post elite defensive numbers, while their upcoming fixtures remain kind.</p>
<p data-start="17" data-end="345">Clean sheets feel more like an expectation than a bonus with Raya in goal, making him one of the safest long-term picks on a Wildcard.</p>
<p data-start="347" data-end="626"><strong>Martin Dubravka</strong> is included purely for structure and value. At £4.0m he is the cheapest reliable starting goalkeeper in the game and allows major upgrades elsewhere in the squad.</p>

<h3 data-start="709" data-end="724">Defenders</h3>
<p data-start="641" data-end="867"><strong>Gabriel Magalhães</strong> is the standout defender in FPL right now. He plays for the strongest defence in the league and carries genuine attacking threat from set-pieces, which gives him both a high ceiling and a strong weekly floor.</p>
<p data-start="869" data-end="1172"><strong>Virgil van Dijk</strong> remains a solid pick despite frustrating returns so far. Liverpool rank among the top three sides for expected goals conceded this season, suggesting their defensive output should improve. A home fixture against Burnley is a nice place to start.</p>
<p data-start="1174" data-end="1398"><strong>Marcos Senesi</strong> continues to be a defensive contributions monster. He leads all defenders for that metric and regularly posts four points even without a clean sheet, making him one of the most reliable budget-friendly options.</p>
<p data-start="1400" data-end="1611"><strong>Joachim Andersen</strong> offers value as a rotation defender. He has performed well for defensive contributions this season and benefits from a favourable run of home fixtures, which increases his clean sheet potential.</p>
<p data-start="1613" data-end="1816"><strong>Nordi Mukiele</strong> completes the back line as another cost-effective enabler. He has quietly produced solid defensive contribution numbers and Sunderland’s next three fixtures offer genuine clean sheet hope.</p>

<p data-start="1790" data-end="2080"><strong>Bukayo Saka</strong> is the Arsenal attacker to own. He is likely first choice for penalties and has a strong fixture run ahead. If Arsenal are confirmed to have a double in Gameweek 26, Saka would likely emerge as the standout captaincy option.</p>
