Antoine Semenyo’s stock as an FPL asset continues to rise, with his versatility and tendency to take plenty of shots making him a perpetually interesting fantasy option.
With 11 goals and seven assists in his 36 starts, Semenyo’s accolades this season include a memorable 16-point haul on the final day, as well as goals against the likes of Manchester City and Chelsea.
Semenyo is the epitome of Iraola’s high energy style, with his pressing from the front a key part of their successes this season. Combined with his physical traits and skill at taking shots with both feet, it’s no wonder the Ghana international has become so integral for the Cherries.

Kluivert exploded onto the scene for Bournemouth last season, with the Dutchman finishing as their top scorer &#8211; albeit with a helping hand from the penalty spot.
This included a hat trick of penalties against Wolves, with Bournemouth’s array of fleet-footed attackers more than capable of drawing fouls in the box for Kluivert to benefit from.
His open play contributions were nothing to sniff at either however, with his six assists perhaps understating the creative influence on offer.

After securing a Summer move to Liverpool, Kerkez leaves Bournemouth having made a big impression from the left-back spot.
The Hungary international provided a total of eight attacking returns, scoring a couple of goals alongside six assists.
In addition to helping his side keep a respectable nine clean sheets, these attacking returns helped him to become the sixth-highest point scorer overall among defenders in 2024/25.

<h2>Bournemouth FPL stats: Points promise at both ends of the pitch</h2>
Bournemouth finished an impressive fourth for expected goals (xG) last season with an xG of 62.4, while some poor finishing meant their total goal tally was slightly below that at 58 (9th).
With the likes of Evanilson and Dango Ouattara missing periods of the season through injury, the Cherries will hope to bring these figures into line &#8211; Iraola has plenty to spend in the transfer window too following a big money move for Dean Huijsen to Real Madrid.
In defence there was plenty to be positive about too, although Huijsen’s departure may impact their solidity in this regard, with Kerkez another important asset on his way out.
Despite these caveats, Bournemouth sat 9th for both expected goals conceded (48.4) and clean sheets (9), while their actual goals conceded tally (46) landed them in 7th.

Bournemouth face all of Liverpool, Spurs and Newcastle in their first five &#8211; and two of those are away from home.
There are enough good fixtures in the mix to justify including Cherries assets however, with Wolves at home and Leeds away standout fixtures among the first six.
Their attacking assets or a defender like Adrien Truffert could pick up points in any of these fixtures, but it may be a wait and see given the opening day trip to Anfield.

There is plenty still to be decided in terms of Bournemouth&#8217;s Gameweek 1 team, with Philip Billing and Marcus Tavernier both performing in preseason, but both linked with moves away.
That puts Ryan Christie in a prime position to start the season in midfield, alongside key defensive cog Tyler Adams, with the talented Alex Scott also in the mix.
The players backing them up are a little easier to predicted, with Marcos Senesi and Ilia Zabarnyi the preferred centre-back pairing, while Adam Smith will compete with Julian Araujo at right-back.
Left-back is where the absence of the departing Kerkez will be felt, but new signing Truffert has already shown he can bring attacking threat to the position, with a brace in the Cherries&#8217; recent <a href="https://www.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/fpl-pre-season-results-guide/">friendly</a>.
Following Kepa Arrizabalaga moving to Chelsea, new man Djordje Petrovic is expected to take his place between the sticks for Bournemouth.
Further forward there is little doubt about the inclusion of penalty taker Kluivert, top FPL point scorer Semenyo, or injury-plagued striker Evanilson.
Dango Ouattara is the man in attack whose position is a little less secure, with Tavernier and David Brooks both capable of playing as wide attackers.
