<h2>Goalkeepers: Breaking The FPL Template Gameweek 15</h2>
<p>Between the sticks, goalkeeper ownership at the elite level is dominated by <strong>Aaron Ramsdale (£4.9m) and Robert Sánchez (£4.6m). </strong>Arsenal shot-stopper Ramsdale is owned by 63% of elite managers and is staking his claim as value goalkeeper of choice.</p>
<p>Ramsdale ranks joint-second among goalkeepers per start, behind <strong>Ederson (£6.0m),</strong> for expected points (4.2) and first for FPL points (5.4). Arsenal defence ranks joint first on Hub’s fixture ticker over the next six and bodes well for further returns from shot-stopper Ramsdale.</p>

<p>Brighton custodian Sánchez started the season as the goalkeeper of choice and remains owned by 27% of elite managers. The Seagulls have slipped defensively of late with one clean sheet over their last six, against an abject Leeds attack. Brighton fixtures are mixed over the next six with tough away trips to Manchester United and Chelsea.</p>

<h2>Defenders: Breaking The FPL Template Gameweek 15</h2>
<p>In defence, three exciting options represent the elite-level back-bone boasting combined ownership of 79%: <strong>Trent Alexander-Arnold (£8.0m), Joao Cancelo (£6.7m) and Reece James (£6.3m).</strong></p>
<p>Alexander-Arnold demonstrates division-leading creativity and ranks top among all players per 90 for key passes (3.36) and big chances (0.75). The Liverpool full-back boasts 99% elite-level ownership and excellent fixtures with the Reds ranking joint-fourth overall on Hub’s ticker over the next six.</p>
<p>Cancelo demonstrates multiple avenues to points and ranks among defenders first for expected goals (2.44) and second for expected goal involvement (4.7). Manchester City’s elite-level rear-guard and ranks joint-first on Hub’s ticker over the next six make opposing the 93% owned Portuguese maestro unwise.</p>
<p>Reece James ranks among defenders per 90 first for expected goals (0.23) and second for expected goal involvement (0.5). FPL managers will sweat on James’ fitness ahead of the festive period with the England international not named in the squad against Watford.</p>
<p>The wealth of options in defence could see “big at the back” optimise your squad and differentiate from the field. <strong>Marcos Alonso (£5.7m)</strong> has assumed wing-back duty for Chelsea in Chilwell’s absence and has produced solid per 90 <a href="https://cms.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/opta/" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c="1" title="FPL Stats by OPTA - Player and Team Stats">stats</a> this season.</p>
<p>Among defenders playing 600 or more minutes this season, Alonso ranks per 90 third for expected goals (0.16) and joint-fourth for expected goal involvement (0.3). The combined ownership of the holy trinity and Marcos Alonso sits currently at 37% amongst elite-level teams providing that slender but important differential.</p>
<p><strong>Ruben Dias (£6.0m</strong>) has recently suffered “Pep Roulette” but Man City’s rank joint-best on Hub’s ticker for defence over the next six. The combination of the holy trinity “JAC” defence and Dias is uber-differential owned by a mere 2%.</p>

<h2>Midfielders: Breaking The FPL Template Gameweek 15</h2>
<p>Imperious <strong>Mohamed Salah (£13.0m)</strong> ranks best this term for expected goals (10.35) and expected goal involvement (16.7). Salah boasts nearly 100% elite-level ownership and will be heavily captained until his AFCON departure which makes backing against perilous.</p>
<p><strong>Diogo Jota (£7.8m)</strong> is the perfect storm of production married with the opportunity for increased expected minutes in the mid-term. The 90% owned attacker ranks among all players per 90 second for expected goals (0.7) and expected goal involvement (1.1).</p>
<p>Outside of Salah and Jota, midfield looks ripe for differentiation with <strong>Raphinha (£6.7m)</strong> a possible sell after Brentford. The Brazilian has shown remarkable consistency but Leeds fixtures rank second-worst overall on Hub’s ticker over the next six.</p>

<p><strong>Phil Foden (£8.2m)</strong> could prove a red-hot differential with injury seeing his ownership drop below 20% in elite FPL teams. Among midfielders playing 600 or more minutes this season, Foden ranks per 90 fourth for expected goals (0.43) and expec ted goal involvement (0.8).</p>
<p><strong>Jarrod Bowen (£6.4m)</strong> could be of interest given the significant improvement in fixtures difficultly for West Ham from Gameweek 16. From next gameweek, the Hammers rank sixth overall on Hub’s fixture ticker with home ties against Norwich and Southampton hugely appealing.</p>
<p>The winger has demonstrated impressive consistency matching last season’s  assist total already this season and demonstrates solid underlying statistics. Among midfielders playing 600 or more minutes this season, Bowen ranks per 90 seventh for expected goals (0.37) and expected goal involvement (0.6).</p>

<h2>Forwards: Breaking The FPL Template Gameweek 15</h2>
<p><strong>Michail Antonio (£8.0m)</strong> has notched once since Gameweek 8 with his underlying numbers showing a significant drop off. The time to sell 55% elite-owned Antonio may have passed with the Hammers ranking sixth on Hub’s ticker from Gameweek 16.</p>
<p>Penalty-dependent <strong>Ivan Toney (£6.7m)</strong> boasts 55% top 10k ownership but could represent a sell with Brentford ranking sixth-worst on Hub’s ticker over the next six. The Bee’s marksman has demonstrated underwhelming underlying number ranking among forwards per 90 joint-ninth for expected goals (0.35) this term.</p>
<p>Premium strikers have failed to represent value-for-money this season but <strong>Cristiano Ronaldo (£12.3m)</strong> could prove a template-breaker under Ralf Rangnick. The Portuguese striker bagged a brace against Arsenal and ranks top amongst forwards per 90 this term for expected goal involvement (0.90).</p>
<p>The combination of new manager bounce and strong underlying numbers bodes well for Ronaldo returns and <strong>Harry Kane (£12.3m)</strong> owners have an easy escape-route in Gameweek 16. In terms of fixtures, Manchester United rank best overall on Hub’s fixture ticker over the next six.</p>
<p><strong>Josh King (£5.7m)</strong> has emerged as the value-for-money striker and Watford rank fourth-best overall on Hub’s ticker from Gameweek 16. Since Gameweek 8, King ranks among forward per 90 first for expected goals (0.76) and expected goal involvement (1.0).</p>

<h2>Conclusion: Breaking The FPL Template Gameweek 15</h2>
<p>We should target differentials in midfield and forward categories with Manchester City and West Ham assets appealing over Christmas. The return of <strong>Phil Foden</strong> to first-team action and appealing fixtures from <strong>Jarrod Bowen</strong> could prove rank-boosting differentials.</p>
<p>In attack, <strong>Josh King</strong> could prove a hot-differential with sub 6% ownership with underlying numbers and a strong fixtures upcoming. In the premium space, <strong>Cristiano Ronaldo</strong> is very much the perfect storm of pedigree and excellent fixtures.</p>
<p>The strong FPL template has largely reduced the game to five differentials and their production is vital to our gameweek.</p>
