<p>The evolution of Arsenal under Mikel Arteta has been transformational with the Gunners’ current resolve, replacing their previously soft under-belly. <p>Defensively, Wolves registered three clean sheets, ranking joint second-best for goals conceded (3) and <a href="https://cms.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/opta/">fourth-best for big chances conceded</a> (7) over the period. Wolves’ defensive production deserves huge credit as they faced some of the division’s best – Chelsea, Manchester United, Arsenal, and Spurs.</p>
<p>Arsenal have a confirmed <a href="https://cms.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/fixture-ticker/">Blank Gameweek 27</a> as their opponents Chelsea contest the EFL Cup Final against Liverpool. Arsenal then face toothless Watford in Gameweek 28, who will struggle for attacking inspiration under newly appointed manager Roy Hodgson.</p>

<p>An aggressive strategy for managers holding two free-hit chips would be to triple-up on Arsenal assets for Double Gameweek 26. <p>Defensively, Arsenal rank joint-second best for goals conceded (3) and <a href="https://cms.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/opta/">joint-best for clean sheets</a> (4) over the last six. Saves and recoveries make Ramsdale a bonus point magnet however a limited number of saves (9) over the period limited his ceiling.</p>

<p><strong>Emile Smith Rowe (£5.8m)</strong> has impressed with eight goals and two assists in the league however is subject to rotation. <strong>Gabriel Martinelli (£5.3m)</strong> scuppered his Double Gameweek 26 prospects with a red card against Wolves meaning he is suspended for Brentford.</p>

<h2>Conclusion: Breaking The FPL Template Double Gameweek 26</h2>
<p>As we move towards Double Gameweek 26 and the business end we will start to see some chip strategy divergence. An attack on Double Gameweek 26 has merit and fortune favours the brave as managers get nervous about chip deployment.</p>
<p>In terms of attacking Double Gameweek 26, I recommend an Arsenal triple-up for managers planning to free-hit in Gameweek 27. Given Arsenal’s defensive strength I advise a defensive double-up with <strong>Aaron Ramdsale</strong> and <strong>Kieran Tierney</strong> my preferred duo, with <strong>Gabriel</strong> an able alternative.</p>
<p>In attack, while both <strong>Bukayo Saka</strong> and <strong>Alexandre Lacazette</strong> appeal team structure might dictate the final decision. My recommendation is for the budget-friendly Saka who has produced both fantasy returns and <a href="https://cms.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/opta/">very strong underlying numbers</a> recently.</p>
