<h3>Buy - Declan Rice (£6.8m) - Arsenal</h3>
<p>Arsenal assets are where the value lies in FPL right now, with their defenders churning out points at an incredible rate so far this season.</p>
<p>For that reason, many are considering doubling or even tripling up on defensive assets from the Gunners, with <strong>Gabriel </strong>now looking like the best pick in the game after <strong>Erling Haaland</strong>.</p>
<p>A key point of consideration here however is the opportunity cost - with the new rules around defensive contributions, there are plenty of budget defenders offering similar points output for a couple million less than other members of Arsenal's backline. In addition, owning three Arsenal defenders locks you out of their attacking picks - including man of the moment <strong>Declan Rice</strong>.</p>

<p>While the likes of <strong>Jurrien Timber </strong>and <strong>Riccardo Calafiori </strong>are undeniably tempting picks, selecting value players in defence instead frees up both cash and Arsenal spots, and Rice is one of several Gunners FPL options worth considering as we head into Gameweek 11.</p>
<p>The Arsenal skipper is the most transferred-in player ahead of Gameweek 11 behind <strong>Jean-Philippe Mateta</strong>, and that's not much of a surprise with Rice banking a huge 43 points across the last five gameweeks.</p>
<p>Rice's routes to points include consistent defensive contributions - a staggering 21 this week - high quality set-pieces, and an all-action midfield style that allows for moments of attacking impetus from open play too.</p>
