<p>I really enjoyed the football this weekend, with the first big match of the season of Chelsea v Tottenham Hotspur being an excellent game.</p>
<p>There were a couple of shock results, with Brentford beating Manchester United 4-0, and to finish the week off Crystal Palace grabbed an excellent point at Anfield.</p>
<p>The first two weeks have highlighted how kind and cruel luck can be within a short time period.</p>
<p>I’ve been very lucky with my team. I don't own <strong>Gabriel Jesus (£9.5m)</strong>, who was captained by most on the opening day of the season for a total of four points.</p>
<p>Meanwhile, while most managers were on <strong>Erling Haaland (£11.5m) </strong>on Saturday, his return was much lower than Jesus' 21 point haul.</p>
<p>Jesus' points could have easily been the other way around, leaving me with a bigger deficit to make up.</p>
<p>This will happen multiply times during the season and sometimes you’ll be on the right side of variance.</p>
<p>Try not to be upset when things go against you and don’t over-celebrate being on the right side of variance.</p>
<h2><strong>Sky team of the week</strong></h2>
<p>The top scorer in Sky for Gameweek 2 was 152 points, which may have be aided with a few transfers.</p>
<p>My team of the week would have scored 199 points and was as follows:</p>

<h2><strong>Sky Gameweek 2 bonus points</strong></h2>
<p>The bonus points achieved by each team in Gameweek 2 was as follows:</p>

<p>Liverpool and Man City were the top two teams and Chelsea were only one bonus behind, despite having a difficult home fixture to Spurs.</p>

<p>It’s still early days to draw any conclusions but it is interesting to see Wolves collect the third-most bonus awards.</p>
<p>Palace aren’t far behind which is amazing considering they have played Liverpool and Arsenal in their opening two fixtures.</p>
<p>Despite a flying start, Arsenal are near the bottom of the rankings.</p>

<p>A total of 30% of awards have come from passing, 35% tackling, 21% shooting and 14% from saves</p>

<p>There is little that could be said after two weeks due to such a small sample size.</p>
<p>It is however worth noting that <strong>Max Kilman (£8.0m)</strong> and <strong>Boubacar Kamara (£6.8m)</strong> picked up tier-two passing bonus in both their games.</p>
<p><strong>Joachim Anderson (£7.9m)</strong>, <strong>Pascal Struijk (£6.9m)</strong> and Kilman are the only players with six bonus points from outside Manchester City and Liverpool.</p>
