<h2 class="p1"><span class="s1">Sky Sports Fantasy Football 2023/24 preview</span></h2>
<p>Sky launched last week and like many of you, I've had the chance to look at the prices and make a few draft teams.</p>
<p>But the real planning in Sky comes when you look at the TV fixtures and see what single game days need covering.</p>
<p>The first TV fixtures were released shortly after the game launched, so we now have a few weeks' worth of matches to properly plan our teams with.</p>
<p>I like to go through all the single game days to see who I'll want as captain. I'll run through the details below.</p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">Firstly though, the rules of the game are the same as last season. We'll get 50 transfers and one overhaul in Gameweek 21, which is FA Cup third round in January. </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">I’m already thinking of using roughly 25 transfers by January and saving the remaining 25 for the second half of the season.</span></p>

<h3>Sky single game day one</h3>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">The season starts with Burnley v Manchester City on Friday, August 11. W</span><span class="s1">hat a luxury being able to see the City lineup. </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1"><strong>Erling Haaland (£12m)</strong> would have been in most teams as captain anyway but I think this game makes him more desirable. He's currently in 77.77% of all teams. </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">The Norwegian scored 312 points last season, scoring 36 goals and assisting eight.</span></p>

<h3>Sky single game day two</h3>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">Monday, August 14 is Manchester United v Wolves. Given it's in the first gameweek, you may want to start with a United player but there's the option of bringing someone in on the night. </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1"><strong>Marcus Rashford (£10.9m)</strong> had an outstanding season with 228 points, thanks to 17 goals and six assists. His form has seen his price rise by £2.8m on last season. That may have put some off - he's currently in just 23.58% of teams.</span></p>

<h3>Sky single game day three</h3>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">Nottingham Forest host Sheffield United on Friday, August 18th in the first match of Gameweek 2.</span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">This game isn't very appealing in my opinion, however Forest have three single game days so covering it off with one of their players may be sensible. </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">Options include <strong>Morgan Gibbs-White (£7.9m)</strong>, who scored 139 points last season from five goals and 10 assists and in just 6.31% of teams. </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">Striker <strong>Taiwo Awoniyi (£7.5m)</strong> could also could be an option. He scored 101 points last season from 10 goals and one assist. He is in 5.54% of teams. </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">A real flashback to last season is <strong>Brennan Johnson (£8.0m)</strong>. It seemed like we all owned him last season at the start. He scored 145 points, with eight goals and five assists, and is in 2.93% of teams to date. </span></p>

<h3>Sky single game day four</h3>
<p>The last fixture of Gameweek 2 is Crystal Palace v Arsenal on Monday, August 21. <span class="s1">Last season's must-have player <strong>Buyako Saka (£10.4m)</strong> will no doubt will be popular. </span></p>
<p><span class="s1">He’s had a 0.9m price rise after his 210 points last season, having scored 14 goals and set up 12. He is currently in 29.65% of teams.</span></p>

<h3>Sky single game day five</h3>
<p>Chelsea face Luton at Stamford Bridge on Friday, August 25 - the first fixture of Gameweek 3.</p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">The Blues can’t get much worse than they were last season. It will be interesting to see how they line up. </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">Who will be the defensive options? And will they finally have a regular goal scorer in <a href="https://www.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/nicolas-jackson-fpl-sky-dream-team-and-telegraph-fantasy-football-prospects"><strong>Nicolas Jackson (8.2m)</strong></a>?</span></p>

<p class="p1"><span class="s1">The Senegalese international scored 12 league goals in 16 starts and 10 substitute appearances for Villarreal last season. In just 1.37% of teams, he’s currently looking like a differential.</span></p>
<h3>Single game day six</h3>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">Into September and we start on the 1st with Luton v West Ham in Gameweek 4.</span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1"><strong>Jarrod Bowen (£8.8m)</strong> could be a popular pick. He didn’t have the best season last time, with just six goals and eight assists, which maybe explains why he’s in just 5.57% of teams. </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1"><strong>Carlton Morris (£7.1m)</strong> is an option if you want a Luton asset. He scored 20 goals in the Championship last season.</span></p>

<h3>Sky single game days seven, eight and nine</h3>
<p>It's Forest again, hosting Burnley on September 18 in the last match of Gameweek 6.</p>
<p class="p1">We then have a gap until October 1 and 2 (Gameweek 8), with Forest v Brentford and Fulham v Chelsea.</p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">If you already have a Forest and Chelsea player in place, again this should provide cover on these days.</span></p>
