<h2 class="p1"><span class="s1">Dan's final team reveal for Sky Gameweek 1</span></h2>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">This season has been a lot harder to pick an initial 11 than in previous years. </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">This is mainly down to the pricing of players but also with no overhaul after four weeks, it does put more pressure on picking a solid team from the off. </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">In past seasons, even if you picked a couple of duds, you could just see it out until the overhaul and start again without wasting transfers, taking out poor picks. </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">Now, I feel you have to get off to a a solid start. That being said, having 50 transfers allows for a bit of selection correction if you have made an error of judgment on a player or two. </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">I’ve got plenty of players on my shortlist. It’s just getting the right combination of players in your team. </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">There will always be a player who starts with a bang who you considered but didn't quite make it into your final team. </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">That’s bound to happen when you have a shortlist of 40 or so players but that’s why I try to make my two teams a bit different to cover off as many players as I can. </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">I’ve seen plenty of great draft teams in our Hub WhatsApp chats.</span></p>
<h4>Sky template forming?</h4>

<p class="p1"><span class="s1">I don’t like to end up with the same team as others but after having read the Hub articles of last season's <a href="https://www.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/reigning-sky-champion-mark-wisdish-reveals-his-draft-team-for-2022-23-season">champion</a> and <a href="https://www.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/fergi-fantasy-football-tips-and-team-reveals">Fergi</a> last week, I realised I have seven players the same as both. </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">It goes to show it is easy to end up with similar-looking teams. It isn’t a problem if you’ve ended up with similar, it just means you’ve identified the same good picks. </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">You can’t win Sky in the first week or two but you can blow your chances of winning it by going too rogue.</span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">Looking at the most-selected players, there only three players are over 40% owned. </span></p>
<p>They are <strong>Erling Haaland (£11.5m) </strong>on 55%, <strong>Mohamed Salah (£11.7m) </strong>on 47% and <strong>Gabriel Jesus (£9.5m)</strong> on 44%.</p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">These are the danger men not to own. Do you dare go against a 44% owned player on the first night? </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">If Jesus lands a 28 pointer - two goals and tier-one shots bonus as a captain, you'll be behind a lot of teams already. </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">That would be a disaster of an opening night if you don’t own him.</span></p>
