<h2 class="p1"><span class="s1">Sky Gameweek 38 preview</span></h2>
<p>Well Gameweek 37 was some week. Crystal Palace turned into Barcelona from circa 2009 and Arsenal assets went off the charts - with the exception of <strong>Buyako Saka (£10.4m)</strong>.</p>
<p>Everton and<strong> Jordan Pickford (£7.0m)</strong> kept two clean sheets and is now the highest-scoring goalkeeper.</p>
<p><strong>Bruno Fernandes (£10.7m)</strong> kept up his recent high points returns and he's now managed 58 points in his last four games. He is now in 64% of teams, so he was brought in heavily ahead of the Sheffield United game.</p>
<p><strong>Phil Foden (£9.5m)</strong> smashed in 16 points and Liverpool failed to deliver with another very disappointing week.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> He was a popular move on Thursday night and he instantly rewarded owners. In just 5.2% before the Brighton game, he jumped up to 63.6% by Friday morning. </span></p>
<p><strong>Jean-Philippe Mateta (£6.7m)</strong> scored four goals in games<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>against West Ham and Newcastle, returning 33 points in the process. That would have been a great move last Sunday. He’s only in 5.5% of teams, so a few made the move but not loads.</p>

<p><strong>Ben White (£9.2m)</strong> scored 32 points over two games, with two clean sheets and two goals in the absolute battering of Chelsea on Tuesday. I know a few people who couldn’t afford their first-choice option in<strong> Gabriel (£9.3m)</strong> so had to opt for the £0.1m cheaper White - when your luck's in, it's in!</p>
<p><strong>Kai Havertz (£9.2m)</strong> finally rewarded owners with a brace against Chelsea. In just 10.5% of teams, it was a welcome return after a couple of quiet games.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span></p>
<p>I was pleased, as I had mentioned Pickford, Havertz and Fernandes as options in recent weeks.</p>
<p>Unfortunately I didn’t do the Havertz move and didn’t captain Fernandes, instead opting for <strong>Darwin Nunez (£9.4m)</strong>. I know, he’s on the never again list.</p>
<p>I’ll be honest, the Palace assets were never an option for me, so Mateta passed me by.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span></p>

<h3>Gameweek 38 fixtures</h3>
<p>There are three game days this week. Saturday's action includes Fulham v Palace, West Ham v Liverpool, Villa v Chelsea and Manchester United v Burnley.</p>
<p>I would imagine Fernandes will be a very popular captain.</p>
<p>I’m so disappointed with Liverpool, so I don’t know if I can do it to myself to captain <strong>Mohamed Salah (£11.5m)</strong>.<span class="Apple-converted-space">  </span>Mateta or <strong>Eberechi Eze (£8.2m)</strong> could be options for owners. <strong>Ollie Watkins (£9.3m)</strong> could be an option if Chelsea put in a performance like last week.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span></p>
<p>There are three games on Sunday - Tottenham Hotspur v Arsenal, Bournemouth v Brighton and Nottingham Forest v Manchester City.</p>
<p>Plenty of options from Arsenal and City stand out here and potentially even a returning <strong>Erling Haaland (£12.0m) </strong>who is just 22.2% owned.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span></p>
<p>The final game is on Thursday between Chelsea and Spurs. <strong>Cole Palmer (£6.5m)</strong> could again prove to be the best option here.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span></p>
