<h2 class="p1"><span class="s1">Sky Sports Fantasy Football Gameweek 14 preview</span></h2>
<p>Gameweek 13 was a bit of a shocker for most of us, with Manchester City scoring six goals and <strong>Erling Haaland (£12.0m)</strong> ending with just two points and being withdrawn at half-time.</p>
<p>Sunday wasn’t much better, as Liverpool laboured to a 1-1 draw at Luton and <strong>Mohamed Salah (£11.5m)</strong> failed to earn any attacking points.</p>
<p>Monday was probably the most eventful game of football I’ve ever seen.</p>
<p>I did a late captaincy switch and decided to back<strong> Cristian Romero (£7.9m)</strong>, over <strong>Son Heung-min (£9.7m)</strong>, which I knew wasn’t going to end well when Romero made the first of his challenges which could have been a red card.</p>
<p>It wasn’t a surprise when he did get sent off a short while later.</p>
<p>I suppose I was thankful he didn’t get minus points for goals conceded when he’s wasn’t playing, so he only finished the game on minus one.</p>
<p><strong>Cole Palmer (£6.5m)</strong> continues his good run of form, with three goals in four games. His ownership has crept up to 15.2%.</p>

<h3>Saturday matches</h3>
<p>This week's action starts with Tottenham Hotspur, who travel to Wolves in the 12:30 kick-off. There will be some decisions to be made for those with Romero, <strong>Destiny Udogie (£7.7m)</strong> and <strong>James Maddison (£9.3m)</strong>.</p>
<p>Romero is a definite sell for me now he’s facing a three-match ban - he’s also in 44.9% of the top 1,000 teams, so it’s a problem a lot of managers are facing.</p>
<p>I’ve seen some are considering a switch to Crystal Palace’s <strong>Joachim Andersen (£7.8m)</strong> - he’s the fourth-highest scoring defender with 67 points, although he has only hit passing bonus in four out of 10 games, but Palace do have Everton, Luton, West Ham and Bournemouth in their next four.</p>
<p>Udogie will only serve a one-match ban, so he’s probably a hold.</p>
<p>Maddison went off with an ankle problem. Fortunately, we will get the Spurs lineup before the deadline to see if he’s starting, although rumours on Friday indicated it could be more serious than just a knock.</p>

<p>Even if he does miss out, it’s the international break next weekend so I’d be wary of selling him if he could be back straight after the break. He is 36.5% owned.</p>

<p>Also in action on Saturday are Manchester United, who play Luton at home.</p>
<p>Could <strong>Andre Onana (£7.3m)</strong> keep another clean sheet? It was a nice little nine-pointer last weekend for the 3.8% who still own him.</p>
<p>Arsenal face Burnley at home. <strong>Buyako Saka (£10.4m)</strong> also went off with a knock in the Champions League on Wednesday, so again he's one to keep an eye on.</p>
<p>The next game of interest for me is Bournemouth against Newcastle. Newcastle picked up another clean sheet last weekend against Arsenal, although they are starting to have a few defensive injuries. As a non-<strong>Kieran Tripper (£9.1m)</strong> owner I’m hoping they concede.</p>
<h3>Sunday games</h3>
<p>Sunday sees four games that start at 2pm - West Ham v Forest, Liverpool v Brentford, Brighton v Sheffield United and Aston Villa v Fulham.</p>
<p><strong>Mohamed Salah (£11.5m)</strong> will be popular and I know he’s not in many teams but <strong>Darwin Nunez (£9.4m)</strong> is always in the thick of it. You just know one game he’s going to get a 20 pointer, although he is a bit of a risky pick.</p>
<p><strong>Virgil van Dijk (£9.9m) </strong>missed Liverpool's Europa League game with illness. Hopefully he's fit to return at the weekend.</p>
<p><strong>Lewis Dunk (£8.3m)</strong> is another one who went off injured in Europe on Thursday. He might need to be transferred out if it’s looking like he'll be out for a few weeks.</p>
<p>He’s 23.2% owned in the top 1,000, so again he's a problem for many managers.</p>

<p>Aston Villa surprised me by losing to Nottingham Forest last week and will be looking to bounce back against Fulham. <strong>Ollie Watkins (£9.3m)</strong> is very highly owned.</p>
<p>The late game on Sunday is Chelsea v City. A lot of people - me included -  took out Haaland last week. His ownership dropped down to 67.9%.</p>
<p>He played midweek and scored though, so I think a lot of people will be bringing him back. I thought he might miss this week, so I thought it was worth a bit of a gamble to take him out, with bringing him back at some point at the back of my mind.</p>
<p>I think Sunday will be a three-way shoot out for captaincy between Salah, Haaland and Watkins.</p>
